From DAVIDsTEA

A citrus burst

This blend of high-grown oolong is truly rejuvenating. It’s scented with lemon myrtle, jasmine and natural citrus essences, and the result is light, fresh and uplifting. Hot, it’s soothing and citrusy. Iced, it’s an unbelievable thirst quencher. And infused into vodka, it makes the world’s best martinis. (MK Kosher)

Ingredients: Oolong tea, jasmine flowers, lemon myrtle, natural orange flavouring*.

I may have slightly over brewed this tea but I found the citrus to give a bitter undertone to the tea. I was able to enjoy the cup but it was not my favourite. It tastes a bit like lemon peels which gives the bitter taste. I probably wont be buying this tea again.

Hummm! :)

I’ve always founded citrus or orange blends to be refreshing, like this one.
The Oolong gives a creamy nice feel to the taste and the citrus gives a strong acid feel.
They went together well in mouth, but I can’t say i’m a fan of it.

One cup is pretty tasty, two cup, ok, but I will never drink a teapot of it.
Why? Because the citrus is strong here.

The lemony scent from this tea is really different than the artificial lemon smell that we are used to—it was a much lighter scent. When steeped, this tea comes out in a light yellow. When I tasted this tea, I was hit with a very clean lemon taste. I was reminded of cleaners though. The boyfriend likes it.

Citrusy and delicious! Supposed to stop fat absorption so it is my go-to tea after a big meal. With a strong orange taste it is a delicious way to end a meal or even enjoy any time of the day.

I absolutely love this tea iced! Its the perfect summer drink and I tend to finish it off in no time. The refreshing citrus taste reminds me of lemonade and it doesn’t need any sweetening; just steep extra long, add a bunch of ice and put it in the fridge for awhile and you’ll have a great summer treat.

Absolutely love this tea. Great citrusy flavour and doesn’t get bitter, no matter how long you steep it. Just perfect!

I bought this one because I wanted a tea with jasmine. It’s a lucky coincidence that almost all the teas I drink are lemony. It was love at first sight. The taste of jasmine isn’t the strongest but it’s definitely there and fits just right with the lemon. A must buy for any lemon lover.
