A pumpkin tea this time of year is inevitable – I can’t imagine NOT doing autumn without a pumpkin tea (mostly because I LOVE pumpkin tea!)
This pumpkin tea starts with a delicious, organic roasted Houjicha. I then added freeze-dried pumpkin, some spices (cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, cloves & ginger). Finally, I added maple syrup (by way of maple cotton candy that’s made from pure, organic maple syrup. During the curing process, the cotton candy dissolves & becomes crystalized, leaving behind a delightful note of maple syrup).
So yummy! It’s also organic, vegan, gluten-free, allergen-friendly & all natural!

Mmm, this is delicious! I’m honestly not a big pumpkin spice fan, so I wasn’t disappointed at all to find that the natural, sweet maple syrup predominates in this blend. The roasty toasty hojicha makes the perfect base, adding a nice depth and complexity to the flavor. I get just a hint of the spices coming through in the aftertaste. I’d gladly drink this one again!

She also sweetly included chocolate gelt in the package to really lean into the holiday! Literally every part of this tea hits my flavor profile happy place. I love maple, pumpkin spice, and hojicha. The maple and pumpkin spice flavors are spot on, and the hojicha is a great base for them. Absolutely love this. Happy Hanukkah to all who celebrate! Am I now off to enjoy all my presents like the perennial child that I am? Yes, yes I am. It’s not the best thing about the holiday, but definitely not the worst!
