I tried it right after steeping it but before adding anything extra to it… to me it tasted just like a plain black tea. I wasn’t getting any, chocolate, chili or chai sadly. I decided to add a little milk and sugar. The chocolate popped out a bit, and I do get a hint of chili. It’s nice, not as great as I had hoped tho.

I really enjoyed this one before bed. The light peppermint is really nice. I love chamomile so that’s just a bonus. Other than Valerian Nights by David’s, this will be my go to before bed.

I added a little to much sugar so my score will be a little lower- I’ll update it once I try it again. Even with this tea being sweetened too much I can still tell that I really like it. Its got some tartness which really hints towards the rhubarb, and the strawberry is very nice as well. It really does taste like a strawberry rhubarb pie, but since it’s a “parfait” I do taste the creaminess as well.
UPDATE- as the tea cooled the tartness really came through, the sweetness vanished and even more of a strawberry rhubarb taste popped out. I increased my rating from 70 to 82.

This is definitely going to be a staple in my cupboard. Loved everything about this tea! I love black teas, especially the chocolate ones. After I tried hot chocolate I saw this one David’s website and had to scoop it up! This is now a morning go to for me! Love the caffeine in it, the chocolate, the toasted coconut flavor, and the pecans add an extra touch! I added in a touch of milk just for added creaminess (but it still works well without).

I bought a rainbow tin of this on sale… a pretty big risk as I bought it online and did not even get a chance to smell it first. It’s actually quite delicious and refreshing. It’s also not too overly sweet or artificial tasting. The guava is quite nice without being too overpowering, and it’s got a hint of an underlying floral note. The smell is amazing! Looking forward to trying it iced.

I absolutely love this one! I don’t know how David’s Tea gets the flavor of ice cream right into the mix! I taste the strong pistachio and the creamy ice cream… I thought I would need milk in this one to get the creaminess but it’s fine just steeping it black!

Enjoyed the flavour of this tea. Tastes like strawberry lemonade that’s for sure. Didn’t really notice the boost, therefor I don’t know If I would buy this one again.

I found it to be weak in flavor, just a hint of cinnamon and cloves is all I really taste. I may have added a little bit too much milk (this may be one black tea that is better without milk!) so next time I’ll just steep for a long time and not add anything. I will readjust my rating on my next steep after I see how it goes.

I taste the apple and orange, and a hint of the marigold flowers… but the spearmint is lacking a little for me. I’m a big mint lover so I guess I’m a little biased. I will say though, this put me off into dreamland. I tried it hot with a hint of sugar, I’m looking forward to trying it chilled.

Bio

Was just introduced to loose leaf tea within the last year. Never thought i’d ever get used to life without coffee! I’ve really been enjoying all the new flavours and different types of teas.. so much to learn and taste!
I usually drink my teas with a little milk and sugar… unless it is a herbal infusion or the ingredients don’t mix well with milk.
Some of my favourites so far are savoury black teas, and I’m always a sucker for anything involving mints or fruits.

90-100: Cupboard staple – will buy when I run out

75-90: I’ll drink what I have, may restock when out

55-75: I’ll drink it, but probably won’t buy it

0-55: Might finish it, might feed it to the sink
