good morning tea world!
this is one of those teas that smells slightly off putting to me, but when i drink it i’m warmed and happy. it’s not fruity but it’s still wonderfully delicately sweet.
a nice choice for a cold monday morning.
there is a lot of construction in my house. and so we don’t have a kitchen. and so i can’t make my green breakfast smoothies. and so my house is a bit cold. and so ginseng’s got my back.

it is a little too sweet for me, but not enough to say i don’t love it. it tastes like pecan pie. who doesn’t love pecan pie?! what a great before bed treat. xo

i drank this yesterday for breakfast. it smells of the most relaxing and loving rose bouquet. it’s currently the only caffinated tea i have in my collection, so i suspect i’ll be drinking a lot more of it until my deliveries arrive.

GOOD MORNING last cup of buttered rum.
i overslept a bit. i need to go pick up my rental car and head north to my last marathon of 2012.
it will be my third marathon in 3 weekends.

Buttered Rum has become “the tea i’m always in the mood for”. i’m afraid i will miss it too much and have to buy some more immediately. but i really should branch out shouldn’t i? :)

i went to see Concrete Blonde last night
i brewed this in my timolino to drink on the drive there.
the first song they played was a Midnight Oil cover song. that was pretty amazing since it was the song my boyfriend sang at a karaoke party just 2 days earlier.
they also sang Take Me Home which is probably the one song that will sometimes always make me cry a little. in a good way.
life is beautiful and terrible and strange.

oh, and we had ethiopian food before the rock show. i ordered spiced tea. it was a bright orange chai served in a clear glass mug, and tasted lovely, but i should have probably added a little sugar to make it really dance.

partied hard last night.
rebooting today with some Assam and vegan endurance athlete videos and sherlock fanfiction.

one more day till thanksgiving break.
it’s 55 degrees outside and i’m sitting at my desk thinking of tea.
i’m steeping this now and i’ll enjoy it with a piece of vegan pumpkin bread.
this tea has little hearts in it.

my sister absolutely loves this tea.
for me it’s definitely too strong. too much cinnamon? idk. i love the ginger though.
i can say that i won’t get it again.
