(52teas (Anne) 2022: 247)
I think the berry flavour has dissipated a bit here, because I actually misidentified this as What the Fluff? initially, but the tea is still really lovely. Similar flavour to the aforementioned tea, but a less robust base, and more fruitiness. One cup left (I only drank this favourite tea now because it wasn’t a sipdown, ha).

2022 Sipdown 118/365!
Nostalgia! Somehow this tea both was a) my first DT sipdown of 2022, and b) the tea where I last year around this time noted that my tea drinking had gone on hiatus, because of course I was newly pregnant and horribly nauseated. Do not miss that feeling.
Unfortunately, this was a particularly unspectacular cup of this blend – I really got nothing remotely mocha-y, although in retrospect I may have “underleafed” as I used a much bigger mug than usual and didn’t really think about it. About the only good thing I do have to say about it is that the matcha was less powdery than the others, so it came nicely out of its packet without leaving too much powder behind. Haha.
(52teas (Anne) 2022: 245) [Final tea drank in April]
2022 Sipdown 117/365!
Never really got the brulee aspect of this tea; just a mildly gingery black. Pleasant but mostly unremarkable.
Slowed down a bit on the 52teas drinking front, with only 47 this month. I’ve been drinking somewhat less tea due to being sick (and having my sick toddler at home more), and because my 5-month-old has been significantly more fussy/only taking 30 minute naps. I’m cautiously hopeful that the tide has turned on all of these cases and I’ll have the time and inclination to drink more tea again (important because I have a nice, large batch of new 52teas coming my way very soon!!)
