March 1 Sipdown Challenge Prompt – World Music Therapy Day

The name of the tea shop prompted me to choose the song “Happy” by Pharrell Williams. It was a good choice!

My daughter is surprising me with a new tea each day post-surgery. This one was needed today as the antibiotics are making my tummy a little queasy and I am hoping the ginger will help, and the song went well with it for a nice cheering effect.

This was perfectly fruity and the ginger was just right for me. Blueberry is the number one star here but on the back of the sip I am getting a nice warm flush of ginger warmth that is not too hot for me. I really like the black tea base, too.

I just got some of this in a Matcha Madness order, looking forward to trying it! I hope it helped the queasy tummy.

Bio

I am a music teacher, tutor, and former homeschool mom (25 years!) who started drinking loose leaf tea about fifteen years ago! My daughters and I have tea every day, and we are frequently joined by my students or friends for “tea time.” Now my hubby joins us, too. His tastes have evolved from Tetley with milk and sugar to mostly unadorned greens and oolongs.

We have learned so much history, geography, and culture in this journey.

My avatar is a mole in a teacup! Long story…
