drank Salted Caramel by Harney & Sons

Sipdown!

We each had a mug of this with lunch and this afternoon I made a big pot. For the pot I used two sachets and added a big pinch of Queen Catherine since this is a weak, thin base. It was enjoyable with some Fortnum & Mason Florentine Cookies.

I suppose it is possible I would repurchase someday but while the caramel aroma is wonderful and the flavor is good, the base itself is weaker than I want it to be. It is easily remedied by adding a pinch of a good, plain black tea base that you enjoy, though.

Bio

I am a music teacher, tutor, and former homeschool mom (25 years!) who started drinking loose leaf tea about fifteen years ago! My daughters and I have tea every day, and we are frequently joined by my students or friends for “tea time.” Now my hubby joins us, too. His tastes have evolved from Tetley with milk and sugar to mostly unadorned greens and oolongs.

We have learned so much history, geography, and culture in this journey.

My avatar is a mole in a teacup! Long story…
