Mmmmmm. Enjoying this as an oat milk latte topped with whipped cream this morning and it is wonderful. With the oat milk, the ‘cookie’ notes become much more pronounced, and the spiciness is mellowed out. It’s warm, cozy, and festive. Like most of DavidsTea’s matcha, it’s pretty sweet, but I prefer my flavored teas on the sweet side, so I don’t mind it.

The Gingerbread sounds good. :D

Since I am new to flavored matchas, I think they would be great as latte vs traditional. Going to try them that way. Makes more sense than drinking them super concentrated. I really enjoyed the Mermaid Matcha too btw. Thank you!

I definitely prefer flavored matchas latte style.
I’m glad you liked it, you’re very welcome!

Chocolate teas are generally pretty hit or miss for me, but this one has a decent enough chocolatiness , and a distinct toasty hazelnut flavor. My main problem was how weak it was. I used 2 tablespoons in an 8oz mug and it still tasted pretty watery.

Another tea that came in my SipsBy box last month. It was fine, but a bit unremarkable. I mainly got cinnamon, ginger, and coriander. Definitely no orange, cardamom, or clove.

I’ve been wanting to try this blend for awhile, and was so happy to see it arrive in my SipsBy box. Boy, was I disappointed. I opened the bag and it just smelled like salted nuts. I was still hopeful. Maybe the flavors would really shine once brewed? Nope. Tastes like hot buttered popcorn. Just awful. Couldn’t finish the cup.

Aw man! This is one that I’ve been eyeing for a while as well! I actually like tea that tastes like buttered popcorn, so maybe this review served to encourage me to buy it more :P

Lol. If you like buttered popcorn teas, you’ll definitely like this!

I remember really liking this tea when I first tried it. However, this cup just did not taste right. Not really sure how to describe it other than ‘off’. It might be because it’s rather old, so I hesitate to leave a numerical rating. I’ll have to buy a fresh box and reassess.

Notes of almond, marzipan, and and rich red fruits. Really enjoying this on this cold, windy morning. This tea is making me extremely excited to start the DF advent calendar.

I had to re-read my tasting note for this tea. I can imagine it that weather it can be enjoyable :).

Unfortunately I’m not getting any salted caramel (or caramel in general) notes in this. It’s a nice spiced tea, but that’s definitely not what I was expecting when I brewed it, so I was very disappointed.
