Technically I’m allergic to pineapples. But there is dried pineapples so less acidic than real pineapples. It smells amazing!!! Unfortunately, I can’t say the same with the taste. usually I put a few german rocks when I steep the tea because it’s easier to melt. Yea…bad idea…too sweet…..too sweet….that I dumped it… :( next time…

drank Pom Tango by DAVIDsTEA

I haven’t said anything but I’m officially on Davids tea Team Mason Jar!!!! I finally got it!!! Lol. Along side I bought the spring collection because it was just easier for me. Hopefully I will be able to purchase the tins I like. Anyways to christen my new jar, I decided to cold brew Pom Tango! I was kinda nervous so I just put two scoops and filled it half way. It was in the fridge for about 3 hrs. Nice and fruity, so excited for my summer drinks! Especially since Vegas is so hot. I wish it was sweeter but I suppose I could put sugar it in..lol. Pretty good! Btw I’m watching Frozen, good and cute movie though I have my critiques about it.

Giggling and happy like a little kid. I freaking love this tea!!! Lol it glittery!!! Sunny side in a mug!!! Lol. Ok so I don’t like chai, cinnamon that of teas, never had. But this tea is perfect!!! Glitter & Gold was actually my gateway tea for Davids Tea and I can also say my gateway tea for being on Steepster! I was doing training for San Francisco’s Lush on Powell St and my coworker Elizabeth were talking and randomly talking about tea! She told me a place called Davids Tea, down the street, was amazing. Unfortunately, my time at SF was short and I had no play time. But When I got back home to Vegas, a package from Elizabeth came!! Inside was of course, Glitter & Gold. Yay!!!!!
The smell, smells like chai but then you get the orange peel notes. I hesitated at first knowing I don’t like chai, but damn my first sip, church bells rang and angels sang. Lol!!

I finally got my order after a month of waiting!!

I purchased this because of all the reviews of having it taste like Gold’s Rush. Not too bad it smells amazing caramelly but fruity all in one. My first sip was more fruity more than anything, like papaya ish with apples, it was somewhat overwhelmingly fruity. It was interesting because I kept smelling the caramel notes to it yet the taste was fruity. Idk I can’t compare it to Gold’s Rush. I’m still content with it though, idk if I’d order more because I purchased 100g lol.

Wow, it’s been so long that I was trying to find the “add tea note” button then I realized it’s now “review this tea”
I have still have a tin full of this tea! I’ve been drinking it every night and it’s been doable, I mean it isn’t as beautiful as when I first drank the tea. But I can still drink it…though spring is coming…it’s going to be hard…but whatever. :)

drank Gold Rush by DAVIDsTEA

oh my goodness its been FOREVER since I’ve been on steepster!!!! I have been so busy that not only that I haven’t had a chance to do tea notes, I haven’t been looking at discussion boards, or even drinking tea in general! So today I’ve decided to treat my day to Gold Rush, my absolute favorite tea! May I add expensive therefore I do not drink this a lot and savor it for special days. This tea is so caramel-y and butter-y good. Yet has a refreshing note. inhale, exhale this is a perfect cup of tea. beautiful. think it also helps because today I was off, did my errands, talked to an old friend, relaxed, and had family dinner.

on another note, I ordered River Tea a month ago, Feb 17 to be exact, I ordered Mulberry White, some reviewers say it resembles Gold’s rush. I really want to try it but it’s March 3 and I still haven’t received my order! goodness, on the shipping information it said that it has been shipped and should be here in Vegas within 7-9 days. But yet no sign of it…

Bumped up rating! I made this into a hot latte, and this was a total tea moment. Ahh so happy with this latte! Though I may be this happy because it came out perfect and usually it takes me a while to make a perfect cup. Noob. haha. I basically followed the instructions in the pamphlet but also eyed ball the measurements.
I heated about 10 oz of milk in the microwave, for about 1 minute though every 15 seconds I would stop it to stir.
In another cup added about 1 and a half scoops of Matcha (I used Teavana’s spoon which is smaller than David’s Tea sorry I dont know the measurements)
I poured about 2 oz of hot water in 175 F.
Whisked it a bit, which is easy because it doesnt get clumpy like other matchas.
Poured in about 6 oz of the hot milk. (Then I tried it but then it tasted really egg noggy)
So I added about a scoop of French Vanilla Syrup, then stirred.
The rest of the hot milk I frothed it up and added to the cup.

I was literally high off of my latte. It was perfection. The best part was that I was listening to “Lovely Cup” by GroupLove.

PS yes it was perfect but I won’t purchase the egg nog flavor.

Tea-sters !

I currently live in Las Vegas, but born and raised from New Orleans! I have been working at Lush Cosmetics for 3-4 years as a Trainer. My major is Biology and Business hoping to get into Medical School. I do enjoy eating and reviewing restaurants throughout Vegas, going to concerts, and having fun!

I am beginning a new love and hobby for tea, but I guess i haven’t expanded to new teas since my cupboard is mostly Davids Tea and Teavana. I feel as though I don’t have any friends in Vegas that are quite as addicted to tea as I am and I probably don’t know what I’m doing; so any suggestions I would appreciate it!
