An enjoyable rooibos blend. Doesn’t taste like the most natural of banana flavours but still enjoyable nonetheless. According to the ingredients though there are no artificial flavourings in this tea. Surprisingly. The chocolate plays second fiddle to the banana, but works very well as a supporting flavour. I would drink this again if offered, but I would not purchase it. I steeped this for 10 minutes using 2 bags for 12 ounces.

Flavors: Chocolate

I wish I liked red rooibos. It is in just about all of the banana blends.

I have a green rooibos plantain tea that I will be sending you in your next tea package from me!! :)

Pleasant. A very earthy and roasted flavor with the sweetness of raisins. The aroma was mostly raisin with a hint of sweetness. It had a malty freshness that I enjoyed.

drank Darjeeling N°37 by Kusmi Tea

Oh my goodness I have something in my eye and I simply cannot get it out! What a horrible thing to contend with while trying to work at my computer this afternoon. :(
Anyway, I had this Darjeeling the other day and thought it was quite nice. It had the body of a high quality black but with some light and fresh muscatel and floral notes. It surprised me that it could be this lovely coming from a tea sachet. If I hadn’t prepared it I would swear it was loose leaf.

I don’t get it. It’s an “okay” black tea. I can taste a subtle sweetness which I assume is the chocolate. Truthfully, to me, it isn’t very chocolate or bacon-y in flavour. Perhaps I got an older pouch, or my taste buds are just a bit off. I’m not quite sure what went wrong, but I can say with surety that I won’t seek it out again.

Flavors: Malt, Sweet

Oh dear, why do I always wait so long to review the new teas I am lucky enough to try? I had this one some time ago so I beg your pardon if I am a bit fuzzy on the details. I do remember the creamy white chocolate and strong peppermint completely masking any rooibos flavour that could have shown itself. I enjoyed it for what it was when I was sipping it, it was cozy and comforting, but it isn’t a flavour duo that I would feel compelled to keep in my cupboard. Take that with a grain of salt though, because generally I am not too keen on chocolate mint anything. Only, strangely, Andes mints. :)

Anyway, Thank you kindly JUMP626359 for the sample! :)

I must say this tea is quite good. I really enjoy the fruity flavours, especially the black currant combination with cinnamon and various other fruits. Light hints of rose sometimes mingle as well. Really engaging tea. I will have to search it out when feasible!

Thank you very much to NICHOLE for sharing!! :)

I’ve been a big fan of every tea I have gotten to try for Mountain Witch, and some of your reviews for some other flavours (Blood Orange and Prickly Pear) have me quite intrigued as well. :)
This tea company has really impressed me!!

I need more of this! I am officially smitten with this tea. Before brewing the aroma alone is mouth-watering. A maple and blueberry marriage that doesn’t exclude the sweet cakey flavour of pancake. I was very pleased to be able to taste all the noted flavours! This tea is quite versatile in that I can see myself enjoying it first thing in the morning (instead of eating the real deal!) But also, I can see myself having it in the late afternoon as a nice sweet treat. I will have to try and save up to order some of this I think!

Thank you once again Nichole! You’re so awesome!! :)

from the wonderful Marzipan!

This tea was delightful. Light refreshing citrus flavour. Satisfying. The aroma was divine and the taste delicate and enticing. I really feel the grapefruit complemented the keemun very well. Well balanced. I enjoyed this so much that I added it to my wish list post haste. ;)
Thanks Marzipan!

from the lovely NICHOLE!

I had never had a genmaicha in a tea sachet before so I was a bit leery going into this tea. Surprisingly, it was quite nice. A good amount of yummy toasty flavours partnered with the light vegetal goodness of the green tea. Comforting and warming. Thanks Nichole! :)

Retrogamer, tea enthusiast, and all around geeky gal. Let’s have a spot, shall we?

I enjoy most black, green, white, oolong (not too mineral-y), rooibos (green too), and various herbal teas. Oh, & I love guayusa. :}

My most searched for flavours include coconut, maple, melon, lychee, pumpkin, and ANYTHING reminiscent of cake. but I am open to try just about anything. I am not too fond of exceptionally fake tasting peach, grape, or lemon flavours, or Earl Grey teas either.

I have no allergies or food sensitivities.
