drank Honey Mead Genmaicha by A Quarter to Tea
15049 tasting notes

Sample from crowkettle ok distraction set in while i went to go write the tasting note here. I wreked my foot this past weekend, so this morning, the husband drove me to physio so that i could get an assessment and now i’ve got to go to my dr to see if she can get me some x-rays so that we can figure out what exactly i’ve done. Ultrasound indicates i “probably” haven’t broken any bones…but a few more tests to be sure. All this..2 wks before i’m supposed to be hiking in the grand canyon hahahaha

so i don’t love mead. but i was hoping that this concoction would be up my alley since i do really enjoy genmaicha. However, this is pretty close to mead and therefore not quite what i want. Glad to try it though as it was calling to me in my last order :)

Oh no! Hopefully all is well in two weeks.

Ouf! Sil, I hope you are back in business in no time. Glad to hear that you are being taken care of. Send husband for epsom salts for soaking in the bath. That goes a long way in helping the things that can be easily helped.

(Good thing we did our chocolate tour last week.)

Roswell Strange

Curl up with a good cuppa, and take it easy!

Sil

Thanks all! X-rays come back tomorrow so hopefully there’s no fracture or anything. Physio seemed to have helped with movement, though I still have t red, swollen extrawide ankle lol. Here’s hoping that I can walk soon, even if it means no running for a while so that we can still hike!

Evol Ving Ness

Epsom salts, Sil, epsom salts. And tea, of course.

Crowkettle

Oh, man! I hope you a speedy recovery and diagnosis! These things have the tendency for bad timing.

mrmopar

Soak and wrap.

Dexter

:( Hope the x-rays come back negative and that you are able to get back to normal soon.

So no real clue what to write about myself here. A friend got me into drinking loose tea and it’s something I thoroughly enjoy though I have nowhere near the experience that many folks on the boards seem to have.

My other interests are cycling, reading, board games, disney cruises, world of warcraft and dancing – in no particular order. I love travelling as well!

Most of that is on hold these days though, including tea drinking like I used to as I have a new little one who eats up all my spare time.
