Mild flavour. Green tea flavour is washed out.

Nice black tea base but it takes over the entire brew. There isn’t enough tartness in here to convince me that I am drinking rhubarb. I am detecting a dull background sweetness.

A bit thin-tasting

When decanting this tea, I noticed an overwhelming melon-type aroma. Very nice melon flavour on the sip- reminiscent of the great flavour that I would find in Butiki Teas blends. Slight creaminess to it. Green tea flavour seems to stand out a bit in this blend. This is a rather old sample so it may just be that I need to give this one a try with a fresh batch.

Dry leaf has an amazing charcoal aroma mixed with a savoury green oolong scent.

The brewed tea has the creamy, sweet, and floral aroma of the oolong at the forefront which is surrounded by an aura of the toasted charcoal.

The flavour of the tea is a great mix of the notes from the aroma which blends together wonderfully. I like the smokiness to curb the sweetness of the oolong but all the flavours seem to be equally present. There is a lovely oolong grapefruit flavour that lingers in the aftertaste. Thin to medium mouthfeel.

Good vanilla flavour. A bit artificial-tasting. The brew is thinner than I would like it but it has a bit of a creamy edge.

Mild savoury flavour. I can detect a cinnamon note with a savoury background

Used one teaball for 375 ml

Smokey sweet notes from the black tea. Slight astringency. Medium mouthfeel. I would try to infuse for a longer amount of time in the future.
