I had such high hopes for this one. I tried Cherry Blossom by David’s Tea yesterday and fell in love with it, but since it’s so expensive and only available for a limited time I was hoping this one could replace it, but sadly no. :(

Don’t get me wrong, it’s still pretty nice, but the taste reminds me too much of cough drops and cold medecine in general for me to be able to really enjoy it. It won’t be restocking this once I’m done with my sample. Too bad.

Oh, no. I’m in love with this tea.

It’s bad. I just bought so many kinds of tea and now I want more of this one. I only bought a 20g bag because that was all that was left in the store, but now I got the urge to buy an enormous quantity before it’s all sold out. I don’t think it will last very long. Just like Pumpkin Chai was online for like 24 hours and then disappeared for I don’t know how many more months. Oh, no.

I love cherry. And this tea is very, very cherry, and very creamy too from the coconut, and sweet and nice and perfect. Even the second infusion was great. I want more. Now.

Today was my first visit ever to an actual David’s Tea store. All of the teas I had had so far I had either stolen some from friends (hehe) or bought online. The nearest store is a 3-hour drive from where I live, so… Anyway today, I was very excited. I had heard a lot of good things about their costumer service and my experience today was awesome. The store was crowded and yet the nice lady was very patient and funny. I smelled so much tea ! And I bought a lot too. Oops.

This one came out today so it was one of the two teas of the day along with White Chocolate Frost. It is amazing ! I didn’t get any of the orange though, mostly just cinnamon, but a very sweet kind of cinnamon almost like those Valentine cinnamon hearts. The perfect tea for the month of February ! Warming and soothing and just yummy!

I’m happy you had a great experience! They are the #1 reason that I attempted playing around with loose leaf. I was nervous and intimidated, and I feel shy walking into a store where I know nothing, but they were so friendly and disarming that it didn’t take long to get me comfortable! Even though I don’t buy as much from them now that I’ve branched out to other companies, I still think highly of them as a company.

I felt exactly the same yesterday ! I was nervous and intimidated, and I felt stupid for feeling like this, and it was so crowded I thought the lady would never tike the time I needed to let me decide… I was about to give up and just buy stuff online instead, but then she started asking questions and making conversation like I was the only customer in the store. I got to smell all the teas I wanted to try and more, and I ended up very happy about my teas and my customer experience. :) Plus I also had passed by the free teas of the day without trying any because it was too crowded, and when I had paid and everything she still took the time to ask me if I had tasted it or not and she gave me a sample cup. How amazing !

Wow. I absolutely loooove this. It makes me think of Lime Gelato from David’s Tea. I know this one doesn’t not have any yogourt in it or anything of the sort but it does feel creamy to me. I can’t really taste the ginger, which is alright by me because I was looking for the lime, not the ginger. And boy did I get the lime ! :) It’s the perfect treat for a late night at work!

My second try from my Steeped and Infused order ! I’m still so very excited :) This one is very interesting. I love the little squares of caramel in the blend (I ate one after the steeping… it was so tasty and perfect) and I wish the tea had a stronger flavour, more like the actual caramel squares, but I’m still quite impressed with the taste. Very sweet and caramelly. Mmm.

I’m very excited because my Steeped and Infused order arrived this morning and now I have 19 more teas to try ! Awesome ! I only ordered a few sample sizes, but they had a deal going on until today : every order placed online would receive sample sizes of each of the top 13 teas of 2013. Isn’t that amazing !? Plus I’ve got an order from Persimmon Tree on the way and another one from David’s Tea (Pumpkin Chai is back online in the web specials section, I couldn’t miss it…) And tomorrow I might get to go to an actual David’s Tea store for the first time. All great tea news !

So, this tea is the first one I try from my order. It’s actually one of the 13 top teas of 2013. I like it quite a lot. I would say it’s mostly a mild chai flavour with a touch of vanilla. Yummy. There is something though that bothers me a little bit, I keep having the feeling I can taste rooibos even though there is none in the blend. It bothers me a bit since I hate rooibos, but it’s not present enough for me to really care. :)

Does anyone have any suggestions regarding the cleaning of timolinos ? For the past couple of days all of my less flavoured teas have tasted a bit off and I’m pretty sure it’s because of my timolino. I’ve tried letting it soak for a while in soapy hot water, but it doesn’t seem to be enough. I’m a bit desperate now !

Anyway so this tea is not at its best this morning because of that, but I have had enough before to make up my mind about it. I like it, but not that much. It doesn’t really taste like mango to me, more like an artificial version of it maybe, and it’s not sweet enough. It’s my last cup of it and I’m not too sad to see it go !

This is one I got from a friend who tried it many times and didn’t like it. She gave me the rest of her 50g bag, which was still kind of full. The first time I smelled it, I thought “eww weird” and when I tasted it I was like “what the hell?” And then I let a few weeks go by, I tried many different teas, and one day I thought : let’s give this another try. And I absolutely love it now ! Both the smell and the taste ! What the hell happened ?

Funny thing is, I brewed a cup a work today and my friend was there. I told her what had happened and she goes “well, can I try it again?” and guess what ? She loved it too and totally regretted giving it to me ! All very weird.

It think it tastes mostly like caramel, a bit of chocolate and lots of sugar. Perfect when I crave a decadent dessert (which I always do). Too bad my bag’s almost done. I hope they bring it back next winter !

Ahhhh I want to try this so badly still!

I absolutely looooooooooooooooove this tea. It’s the first one I tasted from the small shop Bonté Divine and I instantly fell in love with it. It’s a peach flavoured green tea. It smells amazing and tastes wonderful. I like it as much, or even more, than Long Life Oolong from David, which I simply adore.

The peach flavouring feels very natural. It’s sweet and buttery and creamy. Mmmm.

Yvonne

Peach is yum!

I totally agree ! ;)

This is another one from a local tea place in my small town. It’s a floral green tea, mostly flavoured by rose. I guess you have to be a fan of floral teas to enjoy it, but I am so it’s perfect for me ! It tastes exactly like what roses smell. I guess that’s not for everybody lol. My friend says she used to eat rose candy when she was younger and it tastes exactly the same. I don’t know about rose candy but this tea is serious stuff !

Right now I’m drinking it mixed with White Chocolate Frost from David’s Tea, which may sound weird but is actually amazing. It becomes a creamy rose tea with mint. Wow.

I’m quite new to tea. Like many people, the tea brand that got me started into loose leaf tea was Davids Tea. It was about 2 or 3 months ago. My first try was Pumpkin Chai and I was blown away.

I started mostly because I was looking for something that would satisfy my sugar cravings without all the calories, and also for the health benefits. I soon realized the world of tea was way larger than what I originally thought, and I’m glad I’m now a part of it !

I’m way intense when I get into something, so I bought too many kinds of loose tea leaf, trying to figure out which ones I would like best… So far, I mostly enjoy flavoured black, green or oolong teas. Anything floral, fruity, minty or sweet is great. I like dessert teas and also enjoy chai teas. The only thing I can’t stand is rooibos. I’ve tried several blends and I had to either give them away or put them in the trash.

Other stuff I’m into include traveling, language learning, TV series, yoga, Harry Potter, reading, writing, eating too much and hiking.
