142 Tasting Notes
Day 20 of my Advent Calendar.
Dry leaves smell like honey and tea.
Steeping i smell the honey bush and mate teas then the honey, lemon in the background there too. The Liqueur is a lovely warm honey color.
Time to taste: i taste honey but it isn’t sweet it’s kind of a weird association it tastes good I’m just not used to it, it’s velvety too and i can feel the caffeine already, maybe that’s psychosomatic lol. i think i’m gonna try this sweetened with agave.
better sweetened now i’m getting floral notes interesting tea adding this to my shopping list!
Day 19 of my Advent Calendar, i’m behind a little catching up today.
Dry Leaves I’m picking up cinnamon clove lemon coconut smells like a vacation!
Steeped i smell lemon cardamom cinnamon clove and coconut, the liqueur is a lovely lemon yellow color.
Time to taste: Cardamom, lemon, clove, the cardamom is overwhelming everything, the tea leaves a sweetness on the tongue thats nice i think that’s from the lemon, and lastly i get the coconut…this tea is not for me reminds me of the coco chai rooibos that i can’t stand
not rating this because i’m biased but if you like coco chai rooibos i’ll imagine you’ll like this too
Day 18 of my advent Calendar
I’d like to start off by saying that i am not a fan of Chamomile teas.
dry leaves smell like chamomile, lemon grass and i’m noting a spiciness too.
Steeped it smells really lemony but i can still smell that darn chamomile, Liqueur is a nice amber color.
Time to taste: tart but not too much, chamomile and the licorice there at the end leaves a sweetness on the tongue.
I don’t think that this tea is for me being that i am not a chamomile lover, honestly i don’t think i’ll even finish my cup, but for someone who enjoys chamomile this is a winner.
More amaretto than alpine punch?
the dry leaves smell amazing, it’s enough to make you dizzy, mmmm i love amaretto
Steeping the smell is even stronger and the liqueur is a very light caramel color.
Time to taste: I taste toasted almonds sweet amaretto but not nearly as potent as the Alpine punch, if you like almonds but not a super strong flavor than this is for you.
Personally i’m glad i bought a tin of the Alpine punch because comparing the two it’s my favorite
