142 Tasting Notes
I’d like to start off by saying I hate Lavender, I tend to receive lavender scented things a lot and they just collect dust in my bathroom cupboard, but when i smelled this in the store all I got was Coconut! I love coconut, so to find the smell i hate the most along with coconut one of my favorites was confusing lol. I decided to give this a try and bought a 25g bag to try it out.
Now that it’s steeped the Lavender is coming through full force with a hint of coconut, hmm starting to think this may have been a mistake. OK i’ll try it, waste not want not right?
The taste is definitely more coconut! I like it! it’s got a sweet after taste and pleasant feeling on the tongue smooth almost creamy. The smell is definitely Lavender though, I’m surrounded by it, for those of you who like lavender this is a good choice, I like the coconut flavor of this tea that i may be able to overlook the scent in the air in favor of the taste in my mouth, may buy this again, not sure though.
Preparation
I’ve been trying different teas lately but keep coming back to this one, it’s my Fav, making me lose weight and keeping me awake at my desk! love love this tea! the weight loss has slowed a little but i can feel it working anyway.. love this tea!!
Preparation
I Decided that since today is Valentine’s Day It would be the perfect opportunity to crack open this tea for the first time, In the bag the tea smells amazing, Reminds me of that first whiff you get when you open a box of flavored chocolates. Smells more and more like strawberries as it steeps, I’m actually really enjoying the smell of this. the color is pretty too a sort of orangy red, very appropriate, this tea is really putting me in the valentine’s day spirit! The taste is nice, very strawberry, you get the chocolate more as an afterthought, not too sweet a little bitter from the chocolate, don’t really get the rose petals but they do look pretty in my glass tea bottle. All In all this tea will get you into the spirit of Valentine’s day, I’ll find out tonight about the getting lucky part….
Preparation
First time trying this tea and my first impression is it smells like campfire with a hint of maple behind it. Loose in the bag it looks very cute with the little maple leafs. once steeped it takes on the color of maple syrup which is kind of neat and the smells is increased 10 fold! the taste is pleasant, I might add some sugar to this as it’s not as sweet as expected but believe it or not i can feel the maple syrup in the back of my throat! All around good tea, I guess I do like Rooibos tea after all! I don think i would but a whole 100g tin of this but I might spring for another bag come sugar shack time and sweeten it with real maple syrup!
Preparation
This tea smells great in the bag and looks great steeping in a glass tea bottle, very pretty! It smells very nice once steeped, actually it reminds me of my favorite fruity drink! Loving the mis of coconut and pineapple, definately get the walnut behind that and the green tea taste is there for me, perhaps because i have the type of bottle where the tea remains inside the bottle…I really like this tea…Good job David’s Tea!
Preparation
Ok so first time trying this tea, what first hit me was the smell, it’s se fragrant and soothing, I can almost smell strawberries for some reason lol. I like the taste and buttery feeling i get in my mouth this tea is great all around! love the way the leaves practically explode in my glass tea bottle very pretty to look at. Also side note, an inexpensive tea because it’s so light on weight you get more quantity than with other teas.
Preparation
Ok so reiterating what everyone esle said the smell is to die for! one of my coworkers thought i lit a candle it smells so good, the taste though is a bit disapointing it definately is creamy and a little sweet but i was expecting much more flavor from a davids tea….any way glad i only bought 25 grams this will be something to go to when i need soothing aroma’s around me.
