I love it. I don’t taste a huge difference between this and Birthday Cake besides the type of tea of course, but that makes me like it even more. I love the sweet vanilly baked cake flavor that just fills your senses, and now I can have it caffeinate me!! This is going to be on my list for my first DAVIDs order in a large size. It smells amazing, and it tastes even better.

I’m finding a great love in DAVIDs dessert teas over Teavana’s, I get this artifical sugar dried pineapple flavor in every Teavana tea but I feel I can enjoy each DAVIDs tea separately as it’s own. I am so excited that I got to try this, and Vanilla Beans sent enough samples of amazing teas to get me through until my DAVIDs order!!

I sipped this baby this morning while I was cooking some bacon pancakes…i’ve already reviewed it, just logging it!

Last cup of this baby, so it’s out of my cupboard now. I won’t reorder it yet but if I get a craving for it I’ll do it.

I think that this is a nice oolong (though I’m not well versed with oolongs) and the banana is VERY faint. At first sip I was disappointed by that but the more I drank it the more I enjoyed really tasting the tea and just having a hint of banana. It was refreshing, and that hint of banana didn’t taste artificial.

I love that I have a couple cups left of this, but it’s not something I’ll likely be ordering from DAVIDs.

Yum yum yum! Finally at my desk, I rushed here from an 8:00 appointment to make a 9:30 who cancelled and now I get to focus on making my TO DO LIST and planning my week (reserving meeting rooms, setting up businesses to meet with, seeing how many more clients I can meet with). I would usually hate doing this, but I had an AWESOME bath last night and I’m feeling refreshed. We also have an all day retreat tomorrow and losing that one day is making me work harder. We should lose one day every week.

Anyway, so this was originally one of my favorites from Della Terra but after trying so many other teas, I would say this is in my top 5 from Della Terra but not overall. I get the pumpkin and I get a little chocolate, but not quite as flavorful as I’d like.

I’m sorry, I kind of can’t get over this tea. I’ve been savoring my DAVIDs swap samples as treats for when I get home from work. I had the most AMAZING tea time last night, I ran an incredible bath with a bath melt from Moon Harvest that looked like a cupcake and smelled like lilacs and hyacinths. I had my birthday cake tea, and the new issue of Cosmo. ultimate relaxing.

On to the tea…I’ve reviewed it before so I really just wanted to write it a love letter on here. It’s sweet and vanilla-y and rich and creamy but I can still tell it’s a rooibos tea and the sprinkles are so cute I can barely handle it.

This gives me a whole new idea of “dessert teas”. This actually satisfied me as a dessert after dinner and it tastes so much like it’s bad for me. Are all DAVIDs teas like this?? Am I missing out as much as I think I am??

Ok giving this another shot at a review since the first cup I did not even get to finish. So I’m at work earlier than the rest of the building and I have made myself a cup of this heavenly little delight.

It tastes like a smooth butterscotch. I love this more than I originally thought I did, I brewed it for 3 minutes and I think I might try 3:30 next time to see what it does, if it brings the flavor out more or if I can taste the tea more. Now I don’t drink alcohol, so the “rum” part of this wasn’t as appealing as the “butter” part. Luckily, I don’t get any rum taste in this tea, it’s sweet, smooth, creamy, and very much so a dessert tea.

Definitely ordering this baby ASAP.

I was skeptical because I’m not a huge white tea drinker but I’m a huge dessert tea drinker so I wasn’t sure which this would be more of or if I’d be left with the desire to eat an entire tub of cookie dough because this didn’t hit the bar. Yeah, well, it did. I cannot believe how well DAVIDs got the flavor on this one. I get like a burnt caramel, a slight cocoa, a rich vanilla. I’m in love.

I can’t wait for another cup of this, this is seriously like the smell of chocolate chip cookies still in the oven. That warm bakey smell when your mouth is watering just waiting for the timer to ding. It’s like digesting that aroma. How incredible is that??

freaking. delish. THANK YOU elizabeth229 for this in a swap as well! I had a cup of Buttered Rum tea this morning for breakfast since I didn’t get the time to dig in last night. I hate to admit I didn’t even have time to finish it but wow was it amazing. The dry leaves smelled almost kind of sweet and fruity, maybe actually more like a sweet vanilla more than fruit. So I brew it up and it smells like a slightly creamy sweet BLACK tea (love when you can smell and taste the tea in a black tea). First sip was too hot to determine anything. So I let it cool. Then…

BAM!!

Amazing. I get a creamy, sweet, decadent, rich dessert tea. A slight bitterness which could be rum flavor or simply good tea! And a creamy butteriness (yes it’s a word now). I can’t even describe this tea it seems so unique to me. Clearly I need to sip a full cup and think about it more…I’ll write a better review later then.

I think my obsession with DAVIDsTEA has begun. I got this in an amazing swap from elizabeth229 and was so excited I could barely keep myself from ripping it open and brewing a cup in a splendid frenzy. Umm…DELICIOUS. I get a bit of the rooibos taste but not an overpowering amount, which I’m so glad about. A perfect touch of sweetness with the vanilla and a creaminess that makes it taste like frosting. This is so spot on like cake I can barely handle it.

I cannot WAIT for tax returns (I’m sure you’re all also planning your tea purchases with tax returns) so I can place my first DAVIDs order.
