25 Tasting Notes
This is pleasant but not as fragant as I would have hoped. Driving through orange blossoms in FLorida is intoxicating and if anyone knows of a tea to fulfill that let me know! It has orange notes but lacks a sweetness and a fullness I am seeking! Maybe if I spike it with vanilla!
My buddy Ellyn and I dropped by David’s for the new Spring Line…and this one smelled delicious! Being a mango fan it got my attention, and I do indeed really like it. My concern is that it also has listed artificial flavors. Being a snob, of course to artificial things in my tea, this unsettles me a bit, and saddens me as well. The salesman went on about vanilla being an artificial flavoring….which sounded like marketing training to me…but I will be more vigilant to artificial flavorings in the future!
Preparation
I have been an Earl Grey fan since I went to Oxford University (New College) in 1985. (They really do have tea time and the whole school breaks for tea- or did, I cannot imagine they’d ever stop…)This Earl Grey is smoother and tastier, more soothing and delicious than Twinings. It’s a great morning cup if you like Early Grey! I do not sweeten teas or add milk for now because I am trying to taste the tea alone.
Preparation
I love peach melba. My husband does also. It is really really, really, fruity. It is a full palate type of flavor. The peach is delightful, and refreshing. IT is a beautiful red color. I have tried maybe 20 new teas in the last 2 weeks and so far this is my fave, one I’d keep on hand and share often! Unlike most herbal infusions you can steep this 2 times. I LOVE IT! Also, this is my first tasting note. Yay!
Preparation
This is wild stuff. It has many benefits supposedly, I cannot say yay or ney on that but it is so different it is intriguing. To me it is really sour, I can suck on lemons and enjoy the flavor plain, so maybe this is just perfect for me- but I like it. in a weird, unique way. I believe you are to steep it 10 whole minutes.
