I feel like I’m having trouble getting flavor out of some of these Plum Deluxe black teas, I’m guessing due to the lower brew temp from the higher altitude. With this, I’m getting the faintest hint of what a feel like could be the orange and cream and that gives me hope! Besides that I’m mostly getting the base tea with a hint of bitterness.

I think I’ll try this iced next, and if I have any left after that I’ll try playing around with the steep time and see if I can pull out more flavor

Preparation
200 °F / 93 °C 4 min, 30 sec

I’ve lived in Hawaii, Mississippi, Colorado, Maryland, Texas, California, and Oklahoma. I’m just waiting to see where we end up next!

My preferences are towards black and oolong teas but I love trying new and/or weird teas! I’m finally learning to enjoy green tea.

We recently moved to about 6500 feet above sea level and I’m still trying to get the hang of the lower boiling point! Any tips would be appreciated :)

I really love swapping, so if anything in my cupboard catches your eye, please let me know!
