From Plum Deluxe

When we set out to make the perfected loose leaf iced tea blend, we knew one of our favorite flavors was orange. With a hint of “creme” flavor, it makes the most delicious iced tea, the perfect thirst quencher on a sunny day. As the name implies, grab a cool glass of this tea and relax.

I feel like I’m having trouble getting flavor out of some of these Plum Deluxe black teas, I’m guessing due to the lower brew temp from the higher altitude. With this, I’m getting the faintest hint of what a feel like could be the orange and cream and that gives me hope! Besides that I’m mostly getting the base tea with a hint of bitterness.

I think I’ll try this iced next, and if I have any left after that I’ll try playing around with the steep time and see if I can pull out more flavor

This hit the spot. I love Plum Deluxe’s black flavored teas. This one reminds me of orange ice cream but not like those orange dreamsicles (which are yummy as well). The orange flavor has a brighter fresher sweeter flavor compared to a dreamsicle. Not so tart. I’m renaming this tea Orange Love because that is what it is. Creamy Orange Love.

The cream is subtle but definitely there and the black tea base is outstanding. I love this one. Really enjoyed it. Drank this tea while watching Arrow. Anybody watch it? I’m hooked and I’m only on episode 4.

For the rest of the rambling about Arrow and this orange treat. . .
