121 Tasting Notes
Made a big pot of this because Sherlock is finally back and I have been spending the past 2 years trying to convince some friends to watch it. The tea was excellent to have after all the rich food I consumed recently. I just wish I could steep it more than once. :(
Preparation
Sadly I am almost out of this. I needed a pick me up from all the rich food I ate last night and help my scratchy throat go away. This tea is smooth but again, I wish I could taste the chocolate more because eating less sweets is one of my resolutions.
Preparation
I needed this. It’s New Years Eve, I ate a ton of food that is all kinds of bad for me to prepare for the usual resolution of losing some pounds and eating better. This tea isn’t overly sweet or floral and I’m trying to convince myself a cup of green tea will make me feel better. Happy New Year!
Preparation
Picked up 2 oz of this when I was visiting during the Boxing Day sale. No, this tea wasn’t on sale but I needed a chamomile tea other than Molly for my new pot. I actually like this a lot! I mean, I’m a sucker for peppermint, hibiscus and lemongrass so there was nothing to lose here. It’s quite nice right now because I just ate a small serving of my homemade dulce de leche with whipped cream so I’m feeling pretty guilty. :(
Preparation
Still love this tea, in fact I made a big pot of it because it’s relaxing to drink while I knit. It’s smooth, I feel like it has some body to it because it doesn’t have a slightly watered taste that I get when I drink Davids rooibos teas.
I’m not a rooibos fan but this tea is starting to make me into a fan.
Preparation
This tea is autumn in a cup. I accidentally brewed it for 30 seconds longer because I was distracted so I don’t know if some of the pumpkin was lost because I’m not picking up on it like I do with Davids Pumpkin Chai. However, this tea is basically fall in a cup. The base is really nice and works well with the cinnamon I’m tasting. I added in brown sugar and it does enhance the creaminess in this tea. I’m not a big black tea drinker, but Stacy’s blends are too good!
Preparation
I ended up brewing this a bit longer by accident and it came out much stronger. This was a good thing because I made a pot of this in the morning and really needed a pick me up. The caramel came out even more by slightly oversteeping. I didn’t use any sugar this time.
