All I can say is that for 4 dollars this is some flipping amazing Pu-erh. The liquor is dark like coffee. Smooth. Earthy. Almost cacao like. If you combine this with a carmel rooibos it is heavenly.!

Switching it up this afternoon, and this hit the spot. Call me crazy but everytime I drink this tea I feel like I’m drinking a fruited pale ale. Except I’m ok to drive. The body of this tea reminds me of an ale and that’s not a bad thing. I’m not usually a fan of white teas but this is decent.

In the spirit of experimentation I threw in a few shakes of rubbed sage into mix. Let me tell you it made for quite the fabulous cup. Savory and delicious!

Rosemary and dehydrated onions work well too. But not garlic, it comes ou unblaenced. Or maybe that’s my garlic.=)

To quote So I married an Axe Murderer " I believe all Scotish cuisine is based on a dare". Same goes here. What do you do with the left over popcorn kernels that didn’t pop….throw em in a tea pot and see what you get. I happen to like the warm unpopped kernels so I do like this tisane.

OK, you’ve convinced me to drag the sample bags back out and give mine a revisit.

Earthy….not as dark as other Pu-Erhs I have had but decent enough to be a daily Pu-Erh.

Ahhh I like this tea more and more. I get a little bit of Earl Grey when I drink this now. The black tea is definitely robust. The Jasmine, honey, and vanilla flavors make it a worthy choice for the afternoon. One of my co-workers commented on how good this tea smells. It is marvelous and the aroma left in the cup is like that of a wonderful Cavendish.
