Got this in a box of tea for Christmas….it is not bad. Especially with a splash of almond milk.

Makes for a great start to the day

Oooh. This sounds like a promising combination. (This from a tea-fiend who normally avoids flavoured black teas.)

Yeah I’m pretty surprised by it I wouldn’t really expect that from a chain store brand like Target….I don’t think good tea has to be pricey and this is pretty awesome!

Zip-e-dee-doo-da zip-e-tea-a my oh my what a freakin cold day! Plenty of Pu-Erh warming my way….. Oh dear God I forgot how much I love this tea. This is my “treat” tea. Dark like coffee. Smooth as silk. Definitely helps me when I have to deal with the ex-wife. My tin is going to be done soon and that will be sad, but for now I’m enjoying every sip.

The Radio TEA MAN opened his TEA CAN,
Saw that the Pu-Erh, was Just about not There.
Turned the Can Over, Out came a Steep.
Now the Radio Tea Man, Won’t Have to Weep.
Keep on Steepin

The DJBooth

You know I’ve been sipping this a lot at the station and I have found it to be quite enjoyable. I would buy this and drink on a regular basis. Bumping it up a bit.

I saw this at a market and wondered if it was the coated Oolong like Dr.Tea’s Oolong Liquorice and I believe Tea ect. I had them both. Dr. Tea’s in the Oolong sampler and the other at a local coffee shop that serves loose leaf tea. I found I have quite the liking for these coated Oolongs. I took a chance on it $7 for 8oz eventhough I shouldn’t be purchasing more tea right. So I get it to the car open the canister and….jackpot coated Oolong! I couldn’t wait to get home and try it. The first steep I don’t know how much tea was there, because it’s kinda like M&Ms you gotta get through the candy shell. However the subtle sweatness of the ginseng came through. Second steep starting to get some Oolong….five great steeps from this tea. The only disappointing part about this tea is that it’s not compete leaves. They are smaller pellets so I’m sure they are cuttings maybe even fannings. Still though a great ginseng tea at a fabulous price!

I took a chance on this one for 2.99. I honesty had to keep myself from eating it as a snack because I love crunching on unpopped popcorn kernels. When steeping there is a nice roasted aroma. I let it steep for awhile. The flavor was very light almost like a watered down coffee or if you just put coffee beans into a strainer and poured hot water on the with out grinding….ahem Not like I’ve done that before. Different but I like it.

Smelling the aroma reminds me of driving down the highway at night in the middle of June, and spending the week at my favorite place to reflect and gain spiritual renewal. Walking along the streets of Lakeside crunching mayflies underneath my feet is one of the highlights of my summer. This was one of the first loose teas I bought when I found the Asian grocery in the area. I find this to be a lovely tea….and a lovely price too. I just grabbed it to take to work with me and yes it’s marvelous. It works very well iced too!
