Thank you to Rachel for sending me a bit of this tea! I really appreciate it! I have never tried this tea and probably would have never had this opportunity, otherwise! Thanks!!!

This is good. It has a nice cinnamon and maple taste to it. I can also taste the almond flavor, although it is quite delicate.

Delicious!

I’ve had this. Never thought I would use the word “chunks” to describe a tea…but it applies.

I’m still sad that I cannot get this tea anymore! I haven’t seen it for a few years. How old is that sample? :P

I have no idea… Rachel sent it to me.

I got it last year when they were discontinuing it but has been stored very well, hence the reason why it still tastes so good. :-)

Thanks for the opportunity to try this one RACHEL!!!!

This infuses to a Reddish-Pinkish-Purple type color

This fruity-herbal tisane is full of chunky ingredients that you can clearly see.

I can taste Almond then Apple then cinnamon. It’s more gentle than I thought it would be and I am grateful for that. It’s not something I would buy myself but I am glad I got to try it and it isn’t half bad.

I’m think this is more of an ICED TEA/TISANE type rather than hot

Teavana has since discontinued this blend. My hubby liked this one so I bought a bunch before it was too late.

Aww… I just got all excited thinking that they brought it back. sigh.

I just had the leftover iced of this from last night. I think I like it even better iced!! The maple and cinnamon really shine through! It was awesome!

Another herbal sample from Jessica – thank you! The dry ingredients look like trail mix – plump pieces of dried fruit generously mixed in with the cinnamon and shaved almonds. Not too surprisingly, it smells like a spiced-up trail mix too. It steeps to a very pretty pinkish-red color and smells perfect for a cold winter’s day, like a cinnamon-topped fruit crumble. The taste pretty much follows this direction too, with a good amount of natural sweetness, tart fresh fruit, and a dusting of spice. Too bad this one has been discontinued, as it’s a really nice herbal mix.

Oh yes, the accompanying song – Moonlight in Vermont, here interpreted by Ella Fitzgerald:

Thanks to TeaEqualsBliss for this one! I wanted to try this but didn’t get a chance before it was discontinued…

It’s all right, but I would have like a more maple flavour. Definitely more apple than maple, and I really love maple.

Honestly, I’ve never really love this tea hot. It’s sweet and slightly maple-y, but it seemed like there just wasn’t a lot of complexity to the flavor. So it always kind of sat there on my counter, waiting for some attention.

A few weeks ago, I decided to use a lot of the teas that I don’t adore to make iced tea. I thought it would be a refreshing way to move through some of my stash.

I mixed it half and half with a basic oolong that I got at the farmer’s market. SSSSOOOOO good!

The oolong adds that complexity I was looking for, and really backs up the maple and apple flavors. I love it now!

Out of the many teas Teavana has discontinued, this one is one of the few that I liked a lot. It’s been about a year since I had it, but I can remember the natural sweetness the tea had and the beautiful reddish hue of the brew itself.
