Drinkable but meh. It brews up a light murky orangy pink. It has black tea in the mix but you cannot tell when it brews up that there is any black tea in it. I had to add sweetener to it to make it taste like anything which is odd given the amount of candy in it. Once sweetened I can only taste slick feeling peppermint but I expected some black tea flavor too. Sadly disappointed in this cute mix.

Tried a sample of this and I used the whole sample. It was very weak.

This is a nice toasted oolong; the kind i mean when I say “Chinese Restaurant Tea”. It is mellow and has some notes of plum when sipping. There is a bit of an aftertaste that is reminiscent of green apple tartness. I think i either need to steep it longer or add more tea. It was a little weaker than I like based on instructions on Tao of Tea site.

I bought this a couple of years ago while I was at a conference in San Fran. I don’t know why, but it has remained in my tea drawer unopened for a couple of years. I finally gave it a try and it is really nice (the age didn’t seem to hurt it).

It is a very light tea since it is a white tea. The coconut is really pronounced and yummy. The cardamom is not very noticable to me but provides a little depth. The tea almost has a green tea flavor to it, like it is a little grassy. That might be from the coconut.

It’s really nice and I’ll finish the tin. Not sure I need to order it again though.

Well, I did it again. I started steeping this tea and then my co-worker distracted me into searching the web for a dog she could adopt and then I realized it had been steeping for at least 5 mins. So, the good news is that this tea can be completely abused and still taste ok. I’m still not finding much interesting about it but it is drinkable.

Well, I started steeping this one and started writing some code and then thought “Oh shit. How long has that been steeping!?!”. So, I might have completely screwed this one and will review again next time I drink it.

With my possible oversteeping of this I am kind of “meh” about it. It doesn’t have much complexity and has a little bitterness. But it’s not bad.

Second steeping was every bit as good as the first steeping.

Mmmm. Mellow.

I don’t know how long I steeped this because the timer on the microwave just didn’t. I had set it for 3 mins. I think I was somewhere between 2.5 and 3 mins when I realized my timer was off.

It brewed up super dark but was actually very mellow. It’s a very nice everyday kind of black tea which is exactly what I wanted. It’s not too bold. It’s not too earthy.

This tea is really great. It reminds me of Dawn but mellower. It’s got a nice malty caramel like flavor with very little bitterness. When I opened the package, I was surprised and pleased by the long wiry greenish-gold tea leaves. I was not at all disappointed when it was brewed. Thanks much TeaVivre for sending me this sample. It’s a keeper!

I said I wasn’t going to buy more of this, and yet I did. Must be good, eh. This tea is tart and yummy. Tastes like a strawberry cobbler (ahem..after you add a fair amount of agave nectar to it). Now, this tea, while it has rosehips, does not taste like roses… thank god. This tea is a nice evening treat.
