Maharaja Chai Oolong

I drink this blended with the Samurai Chai from teavana and it is big-red heaven in my mouth. Love love love love love.

One of my favorite chais that Teavana has to offer. I prefer to mix this with either the Samurai or the White Aureveydic more than I like mixing them together like in the sample.

This tea is still one of my favorites. I really like all the spices in this tea. I haven’t found a lot of oolong’s that I like yet. I think this is my first. I will be a regular drinker of this tea.

I came across this tea from a recommendation from a co-worker. Needless to say, I fell in love with this. On Sundays, me and my wife like to go to this Indian Restaurant in Decatur, GA called Cafe Bombay. This tea is a great ending to a meal there.

Clearly not my favorite Chai. Lacking in tea flavor, strong on Cinnamon, strange additional flavors. I was told in the store that it is a “traditional” Chai. I disagree.

Teavana’s chai teas are nearly always too potent for my tastes, but this is one of the worst offenders. It claims to be an oolong tea, but I could only taste a unsavory blend of spices. I had to force myself to finish it.

Nothing special. Tastes like almost any other cinnamon tea from Teavana. I do like that I can drink it without sweetener. I used to add ridiculous amounts of sugar to my tea but the last couple years have learned to enjoy it without sugar. i thought it would taste similar to the pumpkin spice brûlée because they smelled kind of similar but it doesn’t. I was kind of bummed out because the pumpkin one is my favorite!

It is very pricey for what it is. Almost $13 for 2 oz. Save your money and get something else!!

I love Chai teas and this one is often in my cup.
