Made using leaves from a shrub called Aspalathus linearis, this tea is oxidized and fermented giving it a dark red colour and rich flavour. This South African tea is smooth and sweet.

A tasty roobios tea that was gifted to me from a friend who over indulged at a tea home sale party. I love the smell of the tea leaves- definitely similar to a orange creamsicle and summer. The tea itself is very fruity and yummy to drink. While I do see the pineapple pieces in it I only taste orange and papaya with the roobios. Packaging says the leaves are good for two brews but I never find that to be true.
