From Stash Tea

Remember the excitement on Christmas morning when you were a kid? The warm feeling, the energy that rushed through your body, and anticipation of what the day would bring? This blend captures all that special holiday cheer with flavors that grow in intensity with every sip. When you brew it, the full-bodied aroma of brisk black tea with a hint of floral jasmine are the first clues that a special day is on its way. But what is it that makes this a great choice for your holiday morning treat (or for any morning)? Let us share with you a well-known black tea benefit: caffeine. With this blend you will get a well-deserved and welcomed boost that will help you keep up with those who didn’t stay up late playing Santa Clause.

This is called a Christmas tea, but you don’t have to limit yourself to one day a year. As our reviewers say: this is not just a tea to drink during holidays. Stock up with a case of our seasonal tea bags and enjoy it all year round. It’s great as an iced latte, or hot with sweetener and a little creamer for a decadent warming treat.

Blended black teas, jasmine green tea

Taking down our Christmas decorations this morning (finally), and thought this would be appropriate.

I’ve been spoiled by loose leaf tea. The CTC method produces a taste I just can’t really compare to other teas. It’s its own flavor, I suppose. Nice in a pinch/busy morning where I’m bustling about, passing by my tea cup every five minutes for a quick sip.

This tea is very delicious to me. I discovered it at the start of December and it has accompanied for most of this month. At first I was steeping it strong and adding a hefty amount of coconut milk and coconut sugar (which is delicious, but I am trying to get away from adding milk and sugar to my teas – it is a bad habit and comfort food from childhood). I have been steeping this plain black and I still love it. I find it very earthy and lovely.

A very subtle and calming tea. The right blend of green and black tea.

OK for waking up, but it didn’t do much for me.

Very smooth and soothing. I expected spiciness, like chai or cider, and the flavor was there but still very smooth. Wasn’t my favorite, but I’m not a big fan of black teas.

I’m not sure why they call this tea Christmas Morning. It doesn’t remind me of Christmas at all. It is a nice black tea, though.

A very satisfying tea with many layers. Captivating in scent and taste. Worth a second cup.

Not bad on a March morning. It’s kind of just a decent plain black tea though; not much “holiday” about it.

This surprised me. It’s one of my favorite Stash teas. A great flavor. I think the teas combined here would have worked well individually, but they work great together too. I don’t taste or smell any hint of jasmine though. But I think I used four steeps from the same tea bag, I liked it so much.

A bland, unimpressive blend that tastes like no-name brand orange pekoe. It’s not offensive, but it’s not worth the premium box price. Why they decided this was a good symbol of Christmas is beyond me- it doesn’t even have anything special in its flavour.
