This is a tisane that I cannot drink plain. The lemon flavor is just too overpowering. The ingredients on the website lists “lemon flavoring” along with the lemongrass. I think they should have left out the “flavoring” and just have stuck with the natural flavor of the lemongrass. That said, mix a pinch with your morning breakfast tea, and you add a nice zest to your morning.

Imagine a desk. Desk overfilled with notes, notebooks, laptop, FullHD screen 28", postcards, pens in all colours, tea… there is even my camera I was too lazy to put in the bag…
And in this desk this tea from ashmanra was hidden. I found it as I just knew it has to be there. So thank you!

Again, as always I sniff the tea bag, I coughed because of ginger. Oww, it will be too strong in ginger… It’s not!

It is quite plain. Mildly lemony and mildly gingery. Not a fiery ginger. The aroma isn’t great as well, it’s kind of cleaner like. Somehow, not much impressed of this tea… nothing that would say “this is a reason to drink it again”. It’s okay though. Nothing impressive, but nothing to avoid.

Very few Stash teas are impressive in my experience so far! I am glad it was not absolutely terrible, though!

Hibiscus and citric acid….so, so sour. Kind of tastes like cleaner smells. The spice of the ginger is far outweighed by the sourness.

How odd that they went for sour with this one… I would expect more of a sweet herbal lemon note.

The lemon is very subtle and the kick you get from the ginger is nice and energizing. I received this in a knitting swap and would happily buy some to keep around the house.

This tea is great for a sore throat or stuffy nose. I would recommend drinking it in the winter time or iced on summer days. Since it was an herbal infused tea it wasn’t my favorite because I’m partial to black teas and true green teas. All in all a solid tea.

Another one from the workshop. Okay. Not memorable. Most likely an excellent sick tea or one for absent-minded drinking.

What elevates this lemon ginger tea is the ginger. I was surprised at how present the ginger was. Quite strong on the ginger front. I think a ginger-lover would really like this. I’m not a huge fan of ginger but I can appreciate it.
