19 Tasting Notes
The lemon is very subtle and the kick you get from the ginger is nice and energizing. I received this in a knitting swap and would happily buy some to keep around the house.
Flavors: Citrus Zest, Ginger, Lemon, Spicy
Preparation
I may have either over steeped or used water that was too hot, but this was awful. That surprised me because I’ve never had a bad DAVIDsTEA, so I’m assuming it was my error. I received this in the 2017 tea advent calendar so I’m hoping I have another chance to try this again.
Preparation
I am pleasantly surprised by this tea! It isn’t typically one I would’ve purchased on my own, but rather it came in the #24daysoftea Advent Calendar for 2017.
The smell is amazing, both dry and after steeping. I’ve come to realize I really prefer black teas over anything else and I really enjoy sweet, rich flavors. The chocolate and coconut aren’t overpowering, but very smooth and the aftertaste is delicious.
This is definitely going on my “to-purchase” list for my next DAVIDsTEA order!
Flavors: Chocolate, Coconut, Nutty
I am a huge fan of mint teas and when I found this in our work stash I was quick to try it. Like others mentioned, the smell upon opening the package is fantastic. So minty!
I always over-steep my tea bags, usually leaving them in the cup until the tea is gone and I think that only made this better. I didn’t get much of a black tea taste (although I am happy for the extra caffeine kick), but the mint wasn’t overpowering either.
I’ll be keeping my eye out for some of this in stores.
Flavors: Spearmint
