We actually decided to try something new and we had few glasses of this iced tea(cold-brewed), and it was very tasty. Normally people prefer original cotton candy, but this version is good as well. A must try thing.

I would recommend to try it once. It’s quite a treat to your belly.

Another sample from a tea friend that I have been remiss about writing a tasting note. For those who have sent me samples, I will get to them…I promise :) This one comes from Lala.

Part of the reason why I took so long to get to the SBT’s that were sent, was because I’m used to doing cold brews, so I was afraid of screwing up the samples, by hot steeping and then cooling. I decided to ‘get over it’ and finally brew this up, as recommended by the steeping instructions. So I had to figure out two things…a quart vs a litre, and do I have something large enough to brew this in that was glass. Google helped me figure out a quart. I found a glass teapot that was a little smaller than what I required, but not by much, so I went with that.

Brewed and cooled with a little sweetener added. Yes, it is tasty. Sweet, fluffy cotton candy. YUM :)

Thanks for the sample, Lala!

Lala

Glad you enjoyed it and super happy to see you back. Hopefully life is good!

It is downright creepy how accurate the cotton candy flavor is. The tea is strong, and it isn’t overwhelmed by the cotton candy, but the cotton candy is equally present. I cold steeped this and enjoyed it very much.

I picked this as one of my Kickstarter rewards. Then when all of the teas came today, I let my daughter pick which one we would make first and this is what she chose. It’s really good, and definitely tastes like cotton candy! Now, what to do with the tea bag until I do a second steep. Put in the fridge?

Cheri

I’d try to dry it out and put it in the fridge.

I’ll admit it: I suck at icing tea. It never tastes the way it should. Ever. Too much water, too much sugar, the wrong tea, something always goes wrong. When I saw this, I thought “perfect, that’s for me!”

I really didn’t read the description well because I thought it would be loose, but it is in fact a teabag. Since I don’t want to make full pitchers when I drink iced tea, I ripped the teabag appart and took out what I needed for 1 glass of iced tea and put it in my steeper.

The finished product is quite tasty! It does taste like cotton candy without tasting too artificial and the tea has that little bite at the end that I always love in iced tea. This is very good.
