I bet this tin was at least five years old. Maybe a lot older. Still tasted the same as nearly as I can tell. Probably not a repurchase. It is a good tea, just not a profile I reach for a lot, obviously. Something about the base just isn’t a favorite but the cherry flavor is nice and not medicinal at all.

This is VERY subtly cherry flavored – barely there, really, but what is there is pleasant. I would rather cherry be subtle than over the top and chemically tasting which this is NOT. Thankfully. The green tea isn’t grassy or overly dry or overly sweet, either.

This isn’t my favorite – it could be better but it could also be a lot worse.

I think this would be a nice starter or base green tea. Might even shine more as an iced green tea.

I like this one so-so.

Fiddling sent me a generous amount of teas from Harney & Sons around May, and I’ve unfortunately only gotten around to trying a few, like the awesome Florence. Thank you, Fiddling!

The cherry flavour seems ok, if a little artificial. Mid sip is sweet, floral cherry while the finish is bitter, sour cherry candies. It’s not bad, and tastes on par with the few other cherry flavoured greens I’ve tried.

This isn’t really my cup of tea, though. I’m not into the flat, grassy notes and the sweet-sour aftertaste this one has. I think I may be done with cherry greens.

I should say that fiddling was wonderful enough to send me three sachets of this lovely blend to try but when i brewed this up at work today, suddenly i magically had none left lol. Not that i’m complaining, because i do love sharing tea but i thought it fair to give credit to fiddling for sending me more than 1 of these haha.

This tea isn’t bad, but it’s not the kind of cherry that i love. This is more of the artificial type of cherry that you find in most things. This is also a green tea, which isn’t my preferred cup of tea. But it is a light, refreshing tea that isn’t overly floral or “too green.” My only real complaint is that the cherry flavour isn’t quite there. But this is a decent enough tea so i’m happy to have tried it :)

I’ve tried a few cherry-flavoured green teas, and to be blunt most of them have been pretty nasty. This one smelled promising – a mix of light florals and fruity cherries – but then all the other crappy teas also smelled great in their dry form.

The first thing I get when I take a sip is the green tea – and it’s a nice green tea, smooth and almost a little bit buttery. There’s a subtle cherry notes half-hidden somewhere in the middle of each sip. While I’d like a tea named CHERRY Blossom to maybe feature the cherry bit more prominently, I endlessly prefer this to getting an overdose of fake-cherry-cough-syrup flavour. At the end of each sip are some light floral notes that linger a bit on the tongue; nothing bold or perfumy, just enough to let you know that they’re there.

It’s perhaps not my ideal cherry-flavoured tea, but I found it enjoyable enough.

My Harney and Sons order came in today!! I couldn’t wait to try this tea so I ripped open the box hit green tea on the Breville and here I sit with my cherry blossom tea.

First I must say the pink and white tin this comes in is beautiful. While I sip it I am very surprised that I am not tasting any hints of cherry or cherry blossoms. I do taste the green tea and it’s a good green tea the same green tea base H&S uses in their Coconut Ginger Green Tea/Bangkok the green tea base has a slight hint of peppery and it’s a little buttery and at the end you catch the slightest hint of fruit but mostly I get floral notes.

It’s not a bad tea I might try steeping longer to see if I can get more cherry blossom flavor.

This is lightly floral and cherry scented. Really, pretty good for a green. It turns out I like them quite a bit more than I thought I would, and my taste for them is growing. I also like that they don’t require any additions for me. Good, but I still prefer the Tropical Green.

12 oz water, 1 sachet of tea, 180 water, 3 minute steep. Straight up!

This sample came courtesy of SoccerMom…..Honestly, I was leery of this tea. Would the cherry flavor be overpowering, sickeningly sweet – reminiscent of cherry-flavored liquid Tylenol of my youth? …. After sipping, I was relieved. The cherry flavor was very subtle and did not mask the delicate green tea flavor.

Personally, this tea is too mild and subtle for me. But for others, this would be a calm and relaxing treat…Darn, if only I wanted to buy this one, I could get the precious tin!

I’ve had this hot before and despised it. It tasted like hot cough syrup. But since it’s getting warmer I’ve been playing with my flavored teas, making them iced. So, in my hopefulness to make this one drinkable, since I still have over half the tin, I cold brewed three sachets in 1 quart of water, 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, and lots of ice cubes. This tea is really sweet, and iced it tastes great. I’m really glad I gave this tea a try iced, it doesn’t have that cough syrup taste to it at all and now I have confidence that I will use all the sachets without feeling like I’m a sick 5 year-old!

This is a bagged tea in a silk bag. It smells very strongly of sour cherry, or more like sour strawberry candy. On brewig the liquor is clear yellow. It smells strongly vegetal green tea but also has a sweet sakura cherry smell.

The taste is great! It tastes very much like sweet sakura tea, not flavoured black tea, etc, but the traditional cherry blossom tea. There is a faint green tea taste.

I am finding with most Harney and Sons tea that they taste better once starting to cool. This tea does leave a bitter aftertaste, which I would attribute to the cherry flavour.

I also find that most of Harney’s tea bags contain a lot of tea and are good for re-steeps. I re-steeped this one and it tasted exactly the same as the first steep.
