Delicate, creamy and delightfully citrusy, this elegant tea is like Earl Grey’s classy aunt. Pinkies up, ladies!

Ingredients: White tea, apple, white chocolate (sugar, cocoa butter, milk powder, sunflower lecithin), rose petals, vanilla, bergamot peel, artificial cream, vanilla and bergamot flavouring.

SO MUCH BERGAMOT.

I don’t know what I expected.

Flavors: Bergamot, Vanilla

Michelle

I found the bergamot very mild in this one…

sierra

Really? Maybe I’ll take a second look (taste?) of it later today. It was bergamot overload for me!

Michelle

I steeped mine for 3 minutes at 90 degrees though, maybe that helps?

After my less-than-pleasant experience with Sweet Almond Green earlier today, this tea was a lovely break for my senses. It brews up fairly dark which I really wasn’t expecting from a white tea. The main flavours I’m picking up are strong notes of bergamot with the smoothness of vanilla, and a lingering sweetness from the white chocolate. Extremely pleasant and easy-to-drink!

This is one that I’ve been REALLY kicking myself for not stocking up on before we ran out of it, so I was super glad when we got a small amount of it sent to us for the semi annual sale! I wasn’t able to stock up as much as I wanted, but at least now I have some of this – which is definitely better than none.

Brewed up a huge mug of it, and it was a happy time all around! This one is so rich and creamy, and while I knew I missed it I feel like I didn’t realize just how much I missed it until I was taking those first few sips and was hit with that overwhelming feeling of “damn that’s good”. Just really satisfying, and smooth!

Friendly reminder that I do not numerically rate DAVIDsTEA blends as I’m currently employed there and it would be an obvious conflict of interest. Any blends you see with numerical ratings were rated prior to my employment there. These reviews are a reflection of my personal thoughts regarding the teas, and not the company’s.

I keep reminding myself that I can’t stock up on all the things. Not that that brings comfort when I run out of something that I find really and truly delightful.

Michelle

I have some I could send you if you like – I’m not liking it as much as I used to

This was one that I had really wanted to try but just never got around to placing an order.

Hmm- this tea is actually pretty good – considering I’m not a fan of either vanilla or bergamot. Maybe theres a difference between bergamot oil and bergamot peel, which is in this blend. It tastes more citrusy. I can taste it but it isn’t overwhelming like earl grey tea is. I’d say I can taste the vanilla as well but the apple is there too. I thought there was orange peel in it but apparently not. Must be the bergamot peel aspect of it. Surprisingly I’m rating this higher than Lady Marmalade. I really love this one. It kinda reminds me of Earl of Lemon.
