I brewed this for iced tea and it was waaay too weak. I think I would need to use a lot to have it taste like anything but water with a bit of sugar added. I likely would not buy again, but nice that I got it in some clearance sets that were 40% off.

This makes a lovely iced tea. I made up a pitcher of it and added a little bit of agave sweetener and it’s been a great go-to-treat in my fridge all week. They sour cherry flavour is awesome cold. It reminds me of those cherry blaster candies. My only regret is not trying it hot since I used the whole package to make up the pitcher. Guess I’ll have to get it again.

Pleasant and summery. Nice to drink iced when you don’t want caffeine, but not mind-blowingly special. DavidsTea just doesn’t do it for me, I guess. People who said this reminds them of Jolly Rancher candy are completely right. Definitely ignore the instructions where they say to use 1.25 tsp – you will need at least double, even triple that, or it’s going to be very weak.

I got this as a sample in my last David’s Tea order and I haven’t had a chance to try it out yet. This herbal blend smells like lifesaver candies, markedly different from the usual strawberry-type candy flavors or the coconut-pineapple tropical flavor combination. If you’re into sweet fruity teas, this might be worth it just to try the unique taste; it’s not quite lime, not quite pineapple, not quite sour apple. I am drinking this hot, which is probably a mistake, as it is one of their go-to iced tea suggestions, but I didn’t have flexibility in brewing style today. In fragrance, the kiwi, cranberry, and sour cherry notes are much more present. When taking a sip, there is a stronger flavor of smooth, vanilla coconut chips, though not too buttery as to be overpowering. As the tea cools, the sour cherry notes become the strongest flavor. This tea is definitely sweet, and though the dry leaf is a stunning rainbow blend of orange peels, and cranberries and such, the main flavor feels artificial. Probably great as a tea pop or a sweet iced dessert, but not quite a tea for my usual rotation. Very glad I got a chance to try it, thanks for sending the samples David’s Tea!

Hard Candy is one of my favourite iced teas right now, of the 6 or 7 I’ve tried in the last 2-3 weeks it’s one of the only ones I haven’t had to sweeten (the only other was mint chocolate rooibos). I’d recommend trying it iced if you get a chance =)

I’ve only had this iced and I really liked this tea, it was like…candy xD I could taste the sour cherry/cranberry the most, I guess the coconut chips were the second thing I could taste then kiwi. I cold steeped this tea in my fridge for around 12+ hours? I can’t really remember. I bought it as a pitcher pack, I wasn’t sure if I’d like it because I’m not the biggest fan of coconut but it was a sooo yummy! I drank the pitcher in a day! Then bought more pitcher packs XP The flavor could be stronger, it would be much better that way.

Given that I like Goji Pop I thought for sure that I would love Hard Candy. I mean I do love it, but I haven’t gotten in one of my moods to completely devour it yet.

I definitely didn’t give this one as much leaf as I should have so it seemed weak. I loved the notes I got in the flavour though so I can’t wait for a full-strength brew. The super-sweet fruity flavour reminds me of going and buying candy at the rec center as a kid.

Hard Candy? More like hard water! This tea is ok-ish. Yes, it does have a very nice watermelon, cherry and honey kind of background taste. But its main taste is just watery honestly. It’s not bad, but it’s not sensational. I ’m not planning on purchasing any before it goes away. I tried it iced, it was ok, but not something to rave about.

Brewed it hot, but sipped it iced! Used my Steeper from DT – so glad I finally bought one, makes iced tea so much easier! Just wish I’d bought more of their summer collection teas last year!

I love this tea; the blend of flavours is perfect, and it doesn’t need to be sweetened to make a good iced tea. My first steep was perfect, second was a little weak (even though I steeped about the same time, if not a little longer). This would go in my permanent collection of DT hadn’t discontinued it after the summer =(

I don’t love this fruit infusion, but I don’t hate it either. I don’t find that it tastes like a watermelon Jolly Rancher; my taste buds are sort of glad that it doesn’t. I taste primarily cherry and coconut. Cherry isn’t normally a flavor I enjoy in teas, especially when it’s the primary flavor, but this tea is tasty over ice and it makes a good base for a summery cocktail. I’m happy I didn’t purchase a ton of this tea, but I will happily sip what I’ve got in my collection over the next few months. Autumn doesn’t really arrive in south Texas until after Halloween.
