From DAVIDsTEA

Ever wonder why Adam and Eve used fig leaves to cover up? Well, some speculate that what Eve ate was not an apple at all, but a sweet, ripe fig. Which makes sense, because figs truly are the most seductive of fruits. Especially when paired with oolong, honeydew and watermelon, and strewn with carrot flakes and safflower petals. This tea is so tempting it’s almost sinful.

This tea is fresh and fruity. The fig flavour plays nicely with the oolong tea and leaves you craving more every time you drink it!

love forbidden fruit and so sad to find out that they aren’t keeping it on board at david’s. so i bought myself a full tin and have been enjoying it at home. this was actually the first tea i tried at DT and it was during a really snowy day in February. The tea instantly warmed me up and the fruity scent and taste made it feel like maybe it wasn’t so wintery out there after all (of course when the cup was done, i learned it was). love this tea and drink it often without ever getting sick of it!

Drinking this iced – it’s really fresh and mellow tasting, definitely more of a ‘summer’ tea I think.

So yummy! I’m not usually a fruit-tea fan, but this is amazingly subtle and tasty :)

I was hoping for a stronger fig flavor, but found the the first steeping offered a stronger melon flavor. I’m looking forward to further steepings to see how the flavor profile develops. On the whole I’m very much enjoying this brand new flavor of the month!
