30 Tasting Notes
One of my all time favourites time and time again, the first steep it creamy and caramelly, the second steep is a bit more watery but you can really taste the apple second time around! I think I steep it a bit too long (2-3) mins the first time but I like it that way. Its the only tea I routinely resteep.
A great one, I like it with a little sugar and iced. I love the combination of the lemongrass and raspberry. Because of the fruit I like to filter it through a coffee filter after I brew it, it takes a little while but its much nicer to drink it without the fruit sludge that settles on the bottome.
I would love to know what you think of this one!
I’ve been considering buying the tin just to try it (before it comes out for real in October)
I like it but I don’t love it. It does taste like carrot cake but seems sort of bland. I may try adding honey or coconut sugar today and see if that makes it pop. I think it’s probably a great tea but I seem to automatically compare oolongs to davids forbidden fruit and teaopias creamy nut and this seems to fall short of those for me.
