5 Tasting Notes
This was a really welcome change from the majority of ‘fruity’ teas that I have. When taking a sip I could taste the black tea base, and the pumpkin pie flavor really kicked in towards the end of the sip. Not overly spiced or pumpkin-y, but a really nice blend. Can’t wait to try it as a latte!
Preparation
I think I’m in love with this tea. Tastes like Peach Drink from Tim Hortons, without the “artificial” type flavour. Great peach and apricot flavour, so much so that my boyfriend even said he expected it to feel “fuzzy” like the fruit would. Smells delicious in the tin as well as steeped. A bit expensive for me (plus it’s a heavy tea, tin is barely 2/3 full!), but the great taste and ability to re-steep will have me coming back for more without a doubt!
Preparation
This was a nice change for me, as a lot of the teas I drink are very fruit based (a lot of herbals). While there is a lot of lemon in this, I agree with another review that it tastes like rind rather than fruit. Still delicious, and the black tea shines through underneath. Careful not to steep too long or else it can become quite strong, but when properly done, I think it’s delicious.
Preparation
I did a re-steap of some leaves today in my David’s tea travel mug, and it turned out really well. Even with the higher temperature and the longer steep time (the leaves were in the bottom of the mug the whole time, it didn’t get too strong or bitter at all. Glad to have another tea that’s good for more than one cuppa!
