Another Lupicia I get to try! This one is a bit confusing to me, as I’m mostly tasting plum or even grapes/wine and a bit of a toasty flavor. Now I’m going to look at the description… chestnuts, cocoa, brandy?? Hmmm… to be honest, I don’t know what brandy tastes like…. maybe that’s the grapes/wine I’m tasting, maybe even the plum? The chestnuts could be the toastiness. I’m tasting absolutely no chocolate at all here. I love the dusky deep black base though. Overall, though I can’t figure this tea out, it’s a flavor profile that I enjoy, especially as it’s unique. I think Lupicia used this combination of three black teas in another blend I tried recently… but don’t ask me which blend that was, because I’ve tried so many Lupicia blends lately. Not the worst problem to have! I’ve been experiencing the grand finale of Lupicia teas recently, after only trying a handful over the years. I will certainly miss Lupicia when they close. :/
Steep #1 // 1 1/4 teaspoons for a full mug // 9 minutes after boiling // 2 minute steep
Steep #2 // few minutes after boiling // 3 minute steep

(I had to look up your tasting note for it, to see what you thought of it.) If you really want to, I wouldn’t mind having a little more of it around. Thank you either way. :D
hehe It’ll go out Monday since it’s Saturday afternoon. I’m glad you like it. I liked it but not as much as how much I bought o.O. #HoardCity
I have a lot of that one too if you want me to send you some :P
