feels like I haven’t had this in forever, but with the thesis delivered (yay!) I can calm down in the caffeine department :)

with the sunny weather, this looks like the perfect choice for the next weeks; fruity, light and refreshing (would be even better if I had Nortada, as that has mint, but it sold out! this was the closest blend they had)

having this at the lab while doing the (hopefully) final look through of my thesis - already dreaming of what I’ll be doing with myself to celebrate!

used a different thermos to bring tea to work today
turns out the thermos is too good! tried to take a sip and the tea came out as hot as it was when I brewed it :)
the tea came out bitter and kind of dull, however, I might just be tasting that due to the fact that most of my tongue is burned

hopefully today I will be able to be done with all of the input my supervisor gave me, so this is both my ‘take to work’ tea and my ‘last stretch energy-providing’ tea!

having this on my first day back, dealing with the dreaded feedback from my advisor
(the one time my advisor could take as long as he wanted, he was fast!!)

made this because I was craving something warm, but the calming effects might be good for me today as well — bf got COVID on our travels, and I tend to be very anxious when it comes to health stuff (especially when it comes to him)
I’m fine though! he’s had symptoms for some days and we were together for the entire time we were in Paris, so if I were to have gotten it with him, I’d already be showing signs

Had a sample of this tea at the store near the Eiffel Tower, it was quite nice! Got 100g of it as a souvenir :)

Having this on the hotel floor with some Bonne Mamman lemon tartellets, so it’s lemon galore!

The hotel we’re staying at offers us tea, so this was a godsend after 20km of walking in a single day (yay Louvre!)
We are sharing a cup with our feet up, after a nice Italian dinner and anticipating tomorrow’s activities

I love the minty aftertaste on this! it’s great not to have an annoying inner voice saying that anything mint tastes like toothpaste
