58 Tasting Notes
This is a fairly mellow green tea that I tried for the first time this morning. I got hints of vegetal, woody and hay at various points in tasting. I’m impressed with the fact that I oversteeped it (which is usually disastrous with green tea) and it remained quite mellow… that’s a first for me. I will definitely be having additional cups. :)
Preparation
Had some of this at my @Cantowrimo meeting today. Solid flavored tea, at least for a bagged tea. :) This is my default hot beverage when I visit Panera Bread since their selection isn’t fantastic. It’s not bad, like the peach flavor, and I prefer my fruity teas with a black tea base, so this is the best fit when I’m in a pinch and only have Republic of Tea available. ;)
Preparation
A decaf version of one of my favorite Adagio teas? Yes, please. I didn’t notice any significant difference between the pot I made this evening (in the TriniTEA, which I’ve just recently cleaned up and put out for use now that I’ve replaced the broken warming pot… yay!) and every cup I’ve made of the non-decaf version.
This is a GREAT fruit tea. It smells like real strawberries, tastes like a delicious tea with just the right amount of strawberry goodness and zero acidity. Don’t steep it too long or you’ll lose that perfect strawberry flavor (I think I’ll actually do 3 minutes next time… tonight pot was flirting with a tiny edge of bitterness and I like it light), and this is also a great tea to put over ice because of its clean Ceylon base. This is a tea that I recommend often and also give as a gift. :)
Preparation
It’s been a while since I’ve had this tea and I finally ordered some from Adagio. Made a cup first thing this morning and this is STILL my all-time favorite Earl Grey. LOVE. THIS. TEA. If you like Earl Grey and haven’t tried this, you are seriously missing out. It’s just a perfectly balanced, flavorful, delightful Earl Grey. Absolute perfection, and one of my favorite teas from any company. The day Adagio stops making this tea is the day I may actually cry over a tea.
