290 Tasting Notes
I am not disappointed. It really does taste like freshly squeezed citrus fruits, mainly orange flavor. But no orange is actually in here, so this really amazes me. Pineapple and papaya are the only fruits in there.
It has a great fresh taste, almost like a cup of juice! It is perfect to wake up in the morning since it has a lot of caffeine. A great Summer tea :)
Honey Bee is another tea I received as a birthday present. What a lovely tea this is. it is a blend of rooibos and mate tea with some lemon myrtle and flowery things.
It smells exactly like honey! I have no idea how this is even possible, it must be witchcraft. It’s actually incredible. However, it does not taste like honey (I wasn’t really expecting it to anyways). I mostly taste the rooibos flavor with a hint of lemon and a slight sweetness.
I love this tea. I will definitely drink this on those early mornings for a nice energy boost. It is best served hot, in my opinion.
Hello my name is Charlotte and I am obsessed with blooming tea.
It’s just so lovely and special. OKAY IT’S A WHOLE ENTIRE FLOWER IN YOUR TEA AND THAT’S IT WHO COULD NOT LOVE THAT?!
Anyways, today after my driving class I took a little stroll down to David’s tea, and discovered their blooming tea. I’ve had other types of blooming tea before, but today is the first time I noticed it at David’s tea.
As for the taste, the Lychee Bloom basically tastes like lychee fruits! Haha. Just not as sweet as usual. If you’ve never tasted lychee before I can describe it to you as kind of like a grape or a pear flavor, or even a combination of the two. Lychee fruits are really sweet, but it’s hard to get that sweetness in a blooming tea.
I’m sorry I don’t really have much to say about this other than that watching the flower open in my glass was basically the highlight of my day.
I really didn’t know what to make of this tea at first. I knew the taste was familiar to me in some way, but I could not quite put my finger on it. It didn’t taste like apple, like I was expecting it to; I even asked my dad for his opinion and he was stumped.
Then I realized, it’s GREEN APPLE! So yes, basically, this tea tastes like green apple and that’s about it. I don’t know how to describe it any better. It’s not strong or weak, it’s the perfect strength actually (I could imagine that a flavor like this one could go wrong when it is strong).
Alright let’s get down to business. This tea tasted like nothing I would have ever expected. It was fruity and tangy, really tangy. It was from the Kiwi, that was the most prominent flavor in the tea. I didn’t taste any coconut at all. It had a nice blend of berries and fruits, and that gave the tea a nice full body.
It’s absolutely fantastic; probably one of my favorites from Teavana so far. It has a hint of juniper with the softness of vanilla and an ever so slight tanginess from the cranberries and pineapple.
I was reading other reviews of this tea and they were mentioning how it had a medicinal/artificial taste, and yes, I cannot deny that it does, but it is barely noticeable I promise.
Overall it’s a great tea and I would recommend it to anyone :)
Well, no surprise here this tea tastes exactly like berries and… mint! The berry taste is stronger than the mint, which I tend to like more than the other way around. The mint is really subtle, but it gives the tea a little “zing.” It’s also very refreshing and a little tangy. What a terrific blend!
I had only tasted this tea in a blend, and I liked it so I figured it would be great alone as well! I love the huge chunks of figs it’s an amazingly beautiful tea. It is also incredibly aromatic; it has such a strong fruity smell, it’s almost too much for my poor nose.
it was nice and fresh, fruity, smooth and just really special. I really could not smell or taste the rose or hibiscus that’s in there. The fig, apple and pineapple really took over the tea, which is not a bad thing; it still tasted great and I would definitely recommend it to almost anyone!I must say that it is a very nice tea if you like oranges. It’s really a pure orange flavor, not that fake, sweet, medicinal, artificial orange taste. It’s the real thing in here. And that’s really about it, it’s a very simple tea and it actually reminds me a bit of orange pekoe (my mom concurs).
