So yesterday I went in to Teavana to pick up my free tea bc Starbucks rewards, and the employees there were kinda frantic and all over the place and they were a bit impatient with ringing me up so they just gave me my tea for free? Service wasn’t too great, but hey, FREE TEA.
So today I decided to visit another Teavana (the one on the way to my Aunt’s) and I was being helped out by Grace and she was LOVELY. I got this tea prepared in store, and got my free ounce of Jasmine Oolong to take home. We talked a bit about tea (of course) and I told her about how I’ve had like half their tea wall already bc I send tea out to friends and they send tea back to me. She said that was one of the best things she heard that day and I’m all I KNOW RIGHT. IT’S THE BEST THING EVER.
Then as I was leaving, I wished her a magical day and it slipped out oops. I’m totally not a Disney cast member. Not at all.

I would be so stoked if a regular person I ran into not at Disney wished me a magical day. Though I might be kinda weird about it and freak them out with my “Oh my god do you work at Disney do you love it are you best friends with Goofy I bet you’re best friends with Goofy…” and so on without pausing for breath. Incidentally, I wish they sold loose leaf tea at Disney World. XD
I used to work at Walt Disney World, and they actually have a tea and spices store in Downtown Disney! It’s in the Spice and Tea Exchange, attached to Mickey’s Pantry and Earl of Sandwich . If I needed a loose tea fix, I always went there when I did my College Program in WDW. Well, there and they also had the Disney Wonderland tea from the regular store.
I should actually give Downtown Disney a fair chance. I went once for a little while and hated it, but it was crowded and there was a lot of construction. I’m going to check out this tea place though, thanks!
See, when I worked, they were just starting construction.
Try getting there earlier in the morning, like before noon! Usually when it hits the afternoon, that’s when everyone heads over to DTD.
It’s not like a massive tea store like Teavana or DAVIDs, but they have a nice collection of blends and smelling jars
Thanks. :)
Also, is it cool if I use your tea rating guide, or something like it, on my profile? I’d credit you. It’d be nice so I can get some consistency with my ratings, most of the time I’m still like “uh, this is good, but what number, out of 101, to give it?” Or, “well, I rated this tea as an 80 but I cant remember what it tasted like; is this tea better than that one? should I give it an 85? 90?” etc. XD
Ha Ha!
