15 Tasting Notes
BLENDED w/Jasmine Dragon Pearls (green, Teavana). Not as strong of a flavor as I thought it would be, though I used less tea than I normally do; typically, I double the suggested amount but this time I used only as much as the brewing instructions said. Specifically, since this is a blend, I put 1 tsp Rooibos Tropica, 1 tsp Jasmine Dragon Pearls, and 16 oz water.
Preparation
Blended w/Capital of Heaven Keemun (Teavana). I wanted a little more spice or flavor in my tea today, but not a full-on chai with lots of milk and sweetener (usually stevia for me), so I did ~1 tsp. Capital of Heaven Keemun with ~2 tsp. Chocolate Chai, per 16 oz. water, and a couple drops of stevia per pot, no milk. (I never know how to specify tea blends with the “how much” options on these notes.)
Previously, I think I’ve also blended this with another tea. I’m not sure I’ve had it by itself…

Backlog. This was on sale and the Teavana salesperson said it was really good if you like their Golden Monkey. I’ve had this one for a while now and still think I have to agree with that assessment. I mean I still like Golden Monkey better, but I really like having this on hand whenever I want a basic/non-flavored black. I got 4 little pots out of my serving from yesterday (3 tsp./16 oz).
