This I just had to try ASAP. For one, I’m a coconut whore, and secondly, I love mint. So theoretically, this should be a win, right?
The dry leaf is mostly pepperminty, kind of like an After Eight. So far so good. Smells mintier than Read My Lips. But I’m not really picking up on the coconut.
Taste-wise, it’s basically like a creamier Read My Lips. End of story.
Ok, well, it’s not as sugary due to the lack of sprinkles which makes this more appealing, especially when you don’t want dyed sugar mucking up the waters. The creaminess is a little vague. I couldn’t taste coconut at all. Not even a bit. At least not until I got to the last two sips of my Nordic mug that I realized, huh, ok, there’s a bit of coconut coming out of hiding. But it’s kind of artificial. Actually, more like their white chocolate flavouring.
So again, tl;dr: creamier, less sugary Read My Lips. Kthxbye.

You know, I too love mint and coconut, but like you, couldn’t pick up on any coconut in the smell. I’ve picked up a sample package though, so I’ll try it and see what happens. It’s not looking good though :(
I didn’t realize until I was dumping the wet leaves that there was only one shred of coconut in there, so it’s not like our tastebuds are broken. I just feel like this one was lazily put together.
Hmm…I still want to try this.

I am not a huge mint fan, but I am intrigued by this blend.
