Really lovely—has a very sweet, flowery smell before steeping, with silver and gold twists of buds and leaves. Once steeped, it has a mellow flavor, sort of akin to a silver needle in terms of mouthfeel and smoothness, but with a bit of a sweet floral note and what I can only describe as a buttery finish. A rare treat. I’ve only resteeped this one once, but I plan on seeing how it stands up to further steeps, since it’s such a precious tea.

Oh, it’s definitely a good re-steeping material!

I had a cup of this today at my local coffee shop (SO happy when coffee houses carry quality teas as well instead of that bagged tea crap). What a pleasant oolong! It had a light roasted flavor and leaves that did well with a second steep for the cup as well. When steeping, make sure you give these leaves ample room to expand. Like all oolongs, they will expand a LOT, and the more space they have to unfurl, the happier your leaves will be and the better your cup will taste.

Heavenly smell of light peppermint and white tea—this is a blend of snowbud white, peppermint, and lemon balm. I mix this one with a bit of raw honey for a touch of sweetness, but it’s good on its own. Very light-tasting and refreshing. The lemon and mint balance with the white tea nicely, and it resteeps well a second time.

I got this as a gift from a friend and promptly made a pot of it for my housemates and me to enjoy. Everyone liked this one! It’s a light tea blend of white monkey, vanilla green, and green chai, with accents of ginger, marigold and…SPRINKLES. The sprinkles add a touch of sweetness, I think, and the ginger comes through as the predominant taste without being overbearing. This is a perfect tea when you want something like chai but not as heavy. Mmm..

I’m surprised by how much I’m liking this one, especially since the smell from the leaves smelled very fake in the package. But in the cup it makes a subtly nutty black tea that’s wonderful black. Just don’t oversteep—I think last time I let it go too long or had the water too hot, because it got pretty cloying. But done right, this tea is pleasantly nutty with a clean finish.

I’ve got agree with other reviewers that this tea is decent but nothing spectacular. The mango flavor comes in nicely and it’s great if you want a wake-up tea that had a fruitiness to it, but overall there’s not a ton of complexity to this cup. I’m glad I only ordered a sample size of this tea.

This is my go-to sweet tooth tea—I don’t need to add sugar to it, since the white chocolate bits and the touch of licorice make it sweet on its own, and it satisfies my holiday cravings for chocolate. Great on its own, and blends well with a solid black tea to give it more body and tea taste. I think people who aren’t normally peppermint tea fans are surprised by how much they enjoy this one. It’s decadent without being obnoxiously overpowering and lingers on the palate pleasantly after each sip.

drank Raspberry Patch by Adagio Teas

Ech, okay. I think I just need to accept the fact that fruity infusions are just not my thing, at least not hot. I’ve tried blending this one with black teas but have found it to be overpowering or overly tart. It might be nice with some green tea iced—I can see that being very refreshing. On its own, though, it’s more tempting to eat than to steep.

I’m sad that this one is no longer sold! It’s a high quality black tea with strong notes of honey—really wonderful on its own and good for several steeps. The gold and black twists of leaf tips look beautiful before steeping and emit a lovely aroma on there own. Mmmm….naturally sweet but also nice with a touch of honey to bring out the honey notes even more.

One of my all-time favorite oolongs. The raspberry fragrance comes through subtly in both the unsteeped leaves and the finished tea, but the raspberry notes so complement the orchid aroma and light oolong taste that I don’t categorize it as a “fruity” tea. This is a refreshing oolong that I’ve re-steeped three times with good results. Perfect for any time of year. If you enjoy oolongs, definitely add this to your bucket list.
