Stress Relief in a cup! Ahhhhhh!
It’s the featured morning tea today at SororiTEA Sisters!
http://sororiteasisters.com/2010/10/21/creamy-peppermint-from-compass-teas/
The dry leaf mixture smells JUST LIKE York Peppermint Patties!!!!!!!! Woooooo! Post Infusion smells like Black Tea, Peppermint, Cream. This ‘brews up’ quick and dark! This tastes like black tea, mint, and vanilla. Altho I must say I LOVE the out-of the-bag aroma better than the actual taste…the taste isn’t bad either! Actually the more I sip the more I like.
Might tried ICED and might try some of other experiments! :P
Post infusion this is a very weird grey-ish brown color…almost like muddy or cloudy water…a water puddle…
I was afraid because of the hibiscus….but there’s isn’t too much in there, thankfully.
I think it’s more floral tasting with a fruity-sweet sidekick more than anything. It’s a more mellow tasting Compass Tea – pretty pleasant overall. I must say this one was a nice surprise. I don’t know if I would buy-out-the stock if I were to see it on a shelf – but I would suggest trying it if you were given the opportunity!
CHEERS!
Had a cup of this earlier this morning and it was very yummy. Just the right kind of peachy for today!

What doesn’t this blend have?
This is a mix of black, white, oolong, yerba mate, peach flavoring, and flowers! WOW! Normally that would make me nervous…but whatever mathematician came up with the percentages for this combo is pure genius!
EVERYTHING makes sense in this blend. All of the ingredients play nicely and smell and taste good together!
Not to mention the health benefits in this tea! WOW! Nicely done, Compass Teas, Nicely Done! :)
Have I Told You Lately…That I LOVE You??? Ahhhhhh! It’s been too long since my last cup of this! I’m saving a little bit for my stash but send a few samples to friends to spread the joy! In the meantime…read previous notes…this time around…additional notes include…
Cookie-like, almond-esque, black tea-base is A O K. Hints of Cinnamon. LOVELY!
This dry ‘mix’ looks like Almond Cookie by SpecialTea and The Spice and Tea Exchange. It smells really close to it too! I’m excited to try this and my infusion is almost complete! (insert giddy/evil laugh here)
Oh yeah…THIS is NICE!
I’m thinking the Almond and spice is a little bit more prominent thank the black tea in the other tea companies take on this…and I’m not sure if there is as much ‘cookie’ type taste but regardless this is darn tasty! YUM!
I can’t believe this one wasn’t in the steepster database!
This is a very creamy/vanilla-scented Earl Grey. I always look for twists on earl greys because I like to see how different they can be but still be classified as an earl grey. I know there are some people out there that stand by the phrase “Leave My Earl Alone” but not me…I love the variety, the creativeness, the uniqueness!
Again, this aroma is delightful! black tea, bergamot, creame, vanilla, ahhhh!
The taste is VERY creamy! The cream and vanilla both town down the bergamot and I really like this. Lately I have had a lot of EG’s that overdue it with the bergamot or use a really REALLY funky bergamot flavoring and it tends to be bitter or leave that strange aftertaste. Not this one! This is pretty darn good right here! VERY smooth…darn near the smoothest tea I have ever had. Some may say the bergamot isn’t strong enough but I really like the way this one plays out!
Delightful!
I received some of this in a swap with a friend of mine.
Nice and fruity. I prefer green rooibos to red rooibos, the green rooibos seems to have more of a fresh, light taste instead of the woodsy taste I get from the red. I also find that there is less of that artificial saccharine-y taste to the green rooibos.
Very pleasant tropical flavor. Sweet. Nice.

A year ago a friend of mine showed me the icanhascheezburger link… and I said really? Once again I laugh and go really!?!?
Oh bunnies… I think I have a picture of my friend’s bunny that looks just like that brown one . It was one stinky bunny.
