Youngest gave me the set of four teas from Thinkgeek for Christmas.

I steeped for about 2 1/2 minutes at 175 degrees. The liquor is pretty dark for a green, a nice, light orange. The jasmine is very subtle. The green base is pretty smooth with grassy/hay notes. It is only the slightest bit drying, though that may change as it cools. An enjoyable tea!

I was looking at these teas the other day when I was eyeing their yerba mate set. I kinda want to get the set just from the tins, but they actually sound like they are pretty good blends.

I am a music teacher, tutor, and former homeschool mom (25 years!) who started drinking loose leaf tea about fifteen years ago! My daughters and I have tea every day, and we are frequently joined by my students or friends for “tea time.” Now my hubby joins us, too. His tastes have evolved from Tetley with milk and sugar to mostly unadorned greens and oolongs.

We have learned so much history, geography, and culture in this journey.

My avatar is a mole in a teacup! Long story…
