Thank you Dexter3657 for sharing this blend with me.
I’va always been curious of this one especially after reading several notes of Ashmanra about it.
This is my first tea of the morning as it is supposed to be a bergamot tea and I find really nice to begin the day with an EG or even an EG’s spin off.
The liquor is very dark, depth and smells honey and berries.
Drinking it, I still get the honey notes and a little bergamot, stronger on berries, probably black currants to me, not sure.
I really appreciate the smoothness of this tea, free of any bitteness, almost creamy.
The flavours are not overpowering the tea itself and are subtile, natural and elegant flavours.
The tea base made of a mix of Chinese black teas is a medium bodied tea which pair perfectly with the subtile flavours evocated above in the note.
A very lovely blend.
why cannot I find bergamot nor citrus in the flavour rolling menu ? did you have the same lack ? It seems crazy it is not already present --so I decided not adding anything for flavours if I cannot immediately add all the ones I picked out

I don’t use that flavour thing at all, nor do I look at what other people put. It just doesn’t suit my approach at all, so I ignore it. I did however notice that a lot of people were missing the suggestions they wanted to use so I had a look at what was there. Those are some pretty wacky choices! Some of them sound like something Husband and my dad would use to describe their single malts. O.o
Hah! Yes, I’ve sent in 3 emails now to add flavours, because I don’t add any if all the ones I want aren’t there. I’ve yet to see my suggestions added though.
I think it is crazy we are allowed to create a tea into the database and not to add any flavour by ourselves…
Until yesterday I was not using the flavour things and I thought it can be ok to begin to use it but meh…no :)
My favorite characteristic of ToL is its flexibility and forgiveness…as addlepated as I often get, I haven’t managed to ruin a cup yet, regardless of steep time or temp.
