Here is a reliable ripe with a smooth texture and well-balanced flavours. It has a medium to full body and a chalky, oily mouthfeel. The huigan is also pretty good.

At first, it smells of candies, aluminum, chewing gum and cherries. After the rinse, it is rather a little fishy smell with particularly strong forest-like notes of birch and mead.

The taste is quite sweet and woody overall. There is also a decent minerality and an almost effervescent quality to it. Most pronounced flavours include tree sap, licorice, mint, cocoa beans, coffee, burnt food, and shellfish. Additionally, late steeps also have a strong vanilla note.

40 – 50 _ I didn’t really like the tea, but it is drinkable.
0 – 40 _ I would prefer to avoid the tea.
