49 Tasting Notes
It’s a sit around at home due to the weather kind of day, so I wanted something sweet and hot. I thought the corn bits and strawberry would be strange, but the flavor blend is very nice and sweet. It does taste like sweet cornbread mixed with green tea. This one’s a keeper.
This has been my go-to bedtime tea lately.
To start with, you have to get over the “stinky foot” smell of hibiscus.
The taste is sweet/tart, and especially nice with some honey.
It definitely lives up to the promise of putting me to sleep….
It does contain valerian
Preparation
I received this in my Steepster Select…. I really needed a bedtime tea, and this one hits the spot. Mint is definitely the dominant flavor, but I really enjoy that. There is really not much to add here…it’s just pleasant and minty.
It’s pleasant enough that I ordered 1/2 pound. (Very economical at $7 per 1/4lb).
Preparation
My Steepster Select box came yesterday at the perfect time. I was feelin a little bit ill and this one perked me right up.
This is better than any regular old lemon ginger I have tried… I definitely taste more of an orange flavor, and the turmeric is nice. I’m definitely ordering this if it is available.
This is the August 2014 blend. I was so excited to open this package today and see an earl gray inspired blend….. earl is my favorite afternoon-pick-me-up tea.
This one is like a minty earl… It’s yummy and refreshing
I like it with milk and agave syrup.
Preparation
This is amazing mixed with oolong for iced tea.
My husband brews 60 ml of this with 60ml of Wei-chun ti kuan yin in the big ingenuitea. As I said in the other tasting note, it is his new iced tea obsession.
….. makes 2 huge pitchers! Yum
This is my husband’s new iced tea obsession. He dumps 60ml of it in the big ingenuitea with the same amount of Teavivre’s Paris Champs…..of course the leaves end up overflowing from the pot…..
Anyway, he brews it strong and adds a little bit of agave syrup for the best sweet tea I’ve ever had!
So happy to hear you’re enjoying the Feb. 2015 tea! Even I admit the strawberry/sweet corn combo seems odd at first but they really do harmonize nicely with each other.
