I see why so many people love this tea. To start with, the little fuzzy snails are so cute. The tea is smooth, malty, chocolatey yum. So far I have steeped it a couple of times, but I think I could do more with shorter steeps. It’s pretty strong and dark.

I received this sample from Jenny at Music City Teas with my little gaiwan set. She said it is from her tea farm in China. Because it was labeled in Chinese, I didn’t know what it was until after I drank it. I loved it so much that I messaged her right away and asked about it. She called it Big Red Robe, but I’m pretty sure this is the same tea that Lee reviewed here previously.

This one has zero flavor, zero coloring after 5 minute steep. I’m glad I got it as a sample…. It’s $55 for 100gm!

This is just ok. I was expecting it to taste more like the second flush teas. It was a bit light and bitter for me.

Cold brewed this for the ladies at work today. It was a big hit. It brewed up light with just the right hint of berry flavor. I haven’t tried it hot yet.

I wanted a nice, sweet bedtime tea…. Without caffeine, of course. This is cinnamon apple loveliness. Honey and milk makes it the best dessert ever. Apple pie a la mode without the calories :-). I will definitely keep this in stock.

Hmmm. I ordered a honeybush sampler because I’ve really never tried them before. It’s not bad, but it’s not what I typically enjoy. I will save it for winter because it seems like a great tea for sick days.
